Sure... loaded with fluoride and chemical fertilizers, topped off with irradiation too. You know, for the children.

Eliminate refined carbohydrates and watch them crave fruits and veggies. Instead of nutritionally void pasta and bread, have a damn apple if you want carbos.
Gluten Free is the way to be. once you cut gluten out, you realize you are spending a lot more time eating veggies

I've actually been eating a lot more "carbs" lately, but I ferment them all before eating them to make them safe. It makes them safe to eat, extracts the nutrients so you get more energy and nutrition from the carbs.
Don't eliminate carbs completely, learn to properly prepare them since you're missing out on cheap, and yummy sources of food.

No I don't drink alcohol. I ferment things like beans and sauerkraut. If you ferment beans by adding water and whey from raw milk to dry beans, and put them to a mason jar they will ferment. They will release most of the gases in them so you'll have it bubbling for a few days until it stops bubbling. If you put them in a mason jar I recommend you also get plastic screw on lids for the mason jars so the air bubbles can escape. It will also have the phytic acid that's in the beans removed. So when you eat them they digest properly and you wont get (much) gas/flatulence from eating the beans, plus it's more nutritious.
More info on phytic acid:

I recommend doing it for 2-3 days depending on when the bubbles stop forming for best results. The bubbles will take 0.75-1.5 days to start forming typically. I believe learning to ferment beans is a good prepper skill to have since it helps you improve the nutrition of things like beans. Phytic acid is an anti-nutrient, meaning it takes away nutrition from you, canceling out the good stuff beans have in them. Fermenting them removes the acid, making beans safe and healthy. I'm allergic to beans normally, but after fermenting them I have no allergic reaction anymore.
