I wasn't as aware to this gun stuff much as I wish I had until like 1.5 years ago. I wouldn't go to a gun show though these days, they are too crowded. I only just drop into sporting goods stores that HAPPEN to carry ammo and pick up a few boxes here and there, with cash. I think that's the best strategy.

Personally I think you buy in bulk online. I currently need about 1K in shotgun rounds. I do like the police type shells for blowing hinges off.

Now keep in mind this is 00 buck 12 pellets. The beauty of the shotty is that you've got slugs to whatever. I need to get the 4 pellet rounds for defense, and I can't remember wtf they are.

Just in for a second, I saw a vid posted here where the guy made a cut around the shell in a circular pattern which caused the whole thing to blow off like a HUGE ass slug.

Yeah, they're great in double barrel shotguns, but most of us don't think it would work "well" in a semi.

it's NOT birdshot, it's actually .24 cal, just over the diameter of a .22 LR, but there's 27 of them going out with each shot
