111 monkeys are being released after serving life sentences for crimes against consumerism. Without many of them, that extra cheesy flavoring on Doritos would not taste anywhere near as good, and not cause skin lesions, brain/liver damage, baldness, etc...
From the looks of it, life is close to being over for a bunch of them. They will now be "encouraged" to wear tshirts according to what products were tested on them.
Shortly after it will then be made into multi-season a reality TV show.

"This January, a National Institute of Health report recommended (http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2013-01/nih-putting-its-chimps-out-pasture) the retirement of 401 of the government's 451 lap chimps. Over the next 12 to 15 months (http://www.hlntv.com/article/2013/03/06/chimp-haven-lab-animals-go-free), 111 of them will retire at Chimp Haven (http://www.chimphaven.org/), a sanctuary in Keithville, Louisiana. Some have already arrived (http://www.chimphaven.org/introductions-at-chimp-haven/) — and were introduced to the wide open sky for the first time."

"According to (http://www.chimphaven.org/to-walk-in-a-chimpanzees-shoes/) the Chimp Haven blog, "Once the chimpanzees are retired to Chimp Haven, our employees do everything possible to ensure their health and happiness throughout the rest of their lives.
Chimpanzees are incorporated into larger social groups which allow them to choose who to interact with. They are also provided access to a variety of outdoor areas including forested habitats, play yards, courtyards and jungle gyms.
Every chimpanzee has the choice to spend their time outside or inside. It is also wonderful to see chimpanzees experience grass for the first time and even climb trees!"
