What exactly is a revolt?

It's not obeying orders. It is preventing the 'authorities' from having their way. It is disregarding their laws.

As far as I can tell, the authorities are getting organized and prepared much faster and with more determination than anyone who is going to revolt. They will deal with us individually and divided. They will hire everyone to snitch on everyone else. In the end, we will have a country where you do what you are told and you watch what you say. Enough of us will disappear to convince the rest that is so. It's because we don't trust each other enough to stand together against the authoritarians, the fascists. And I don't see that trust developing easily. They have conditioned all of us to conform and obey. They will get our children to rat on us. We have no underground. No organized resistance. No private communications. When I start seeing people encrypting their email I'll have a little hope. When I start seeing the cops quitting their jobs in droves, I'll have more hope. When people turn off their TVs that will make me hopeful.

What I fear most aren't the authorities--but my fellow slaves. The ones who love their slavery so much, they would keep me in it against my will.

Exactly. 2 Billion rounds of .223 hollow point ammo for domestic use by Homeland Security when we ourselves can't find even one single round of .22 anywhere. Armored tanks as pictured above for domestic use by local Police departments. Recent gun control legislation to disarm the citizenry. ARs and ammo already impossible to find in any store. The web is also used. As I learn to better stand back and examine postings on the various very popular web forums, including this one, I have learned to see those with the message "resistance is futile". There are a lot of posters who reliably post this message, especially here. Probably professionals, hired with tax money, using "online persona profile management software", whose jobs it is to keep us hopeless and divided.

For my part, I have very much casual and semi-casual contact with a lot of strangers everyday, and everyone I meet is pissed. EVERYONE. There is a layer of frustration and anger just below the surface that I am certain none of the sycophant paid informants has ever told the masters about. I have casual conversations all the time, standing in line at the grocery store, sitting in a bar having a beer...you make casual contact, and then just make a comment about how much food costs, or how much gas costs, or how hard it is for young people to get a good job, and they stick their toes in the water, feel you out just a bit, and then unload a stream of frustration and anger with politicians, the deficit, the Federal Reserve, traffic cops, you name it...every time. Each and every time. It never fails. You'd be amazed at how frank many of these contacts become, and how quickly.

People are fucking pissed off. I HOPE they start disappearing people, and soon. Domestic drone strikes? Bring it. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

A lot of people have this fantasy that there will be this Civil War coming where the good guys will use the guns to save the day. We'll all go on a Gold/Silver standard, everyone who holds the metals will get rich, and we'll all live happily ever after. I just realistically don't believe any of that will happen. If you've noticed in my previous posts I've already discussed a realistic solution, wherein we learn technologies like 3D printing so we can print out our guns and drones. Through cryptography we can make our own decentralized currencies, systems, and even virtual "governments", but we only need more participation. You don't have to vote, and hope your vote counts. You just have to do it, and convince likeminded people to do the same thing. We need to stop playing by the Elite's rules, and change the rules entirely if we ever want to realistically defeat them. If we have a violent war, we will lose since there aren't enough people who are "man enough" to actually fight. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. It's an insane proposition that will only end in disaster. People do get more and more angry, but that new level of anger becomes the new normal, and people go back to what they were doing.

If we master the emerging technologies we can remotely control anonymous drones from the comfort of our own homes: Take out a corrupt banker/politician, and your hands are clean. Do you understand how powerful this is? The system is fucking rigged. It doesn't matter how you vote or complain. It doesn't matter how many guns you have either since people are so dumbed down and neutered very few would be crazy enough to fight. Most people who say they will fight wont. Most people who say "Molon labe" will give up their guns right away when that knock comes on the door.

The only solution is to change the rules. Don't follow the script. That's how real positive change occurs.

Realistically I'm terrified of whats going on, I'm terrified of the outside world, and I like the glow of my computer screen to keep me feeling alive. I don't want a Civil War. I don't want a Collapse. I think it's dangerous to romanticize those things since they wont be fun/enjoyable at all. I want to just be able to enjoy my life as much as I can, and try to set things in motion so realistic change can occur for the better.


The only path to freedom is through more technology, or absolutely no technology. We can't go backwards, so the only solution and focus should be mastering these emerging technologies and using them against those who would enslave us with them. The Elite are Elite since they are a monopoly. You can break their monopolies with the emerging technologies and level the playing field. Suddenly having the ability to print up trillions of dollars out of thin air means nothing.

That is an unbelievably,and unacceptably naive comment. Just wow. Is it not obvious how much the internet has been used to spread truth? If you had infinite taxpayer and central bank money, wouldn't you hire people to combat this? Hasn't it been revealed that political campaigns, and foreign governments, have paid internet shills?

I hope beyond hoping that we do not have a violent civil war. But with each of their constant, incremental encroachments, the masters move us closer to it. In so doing they wake up more and more people. There is an unprecedented level of skepticism. Just wait until the armored DHS vehicles start roaming American streets. "We are your friends, we're just like you, we're here to help you." I can't wait.

I don't WANT a civil war or a collapse, either. I just don't think a collapse is avoidable at this point, and I think the ongoing and overt encroachments on our civil liberties will continue to piss people off, to higher and higher levels. Couple that with the fact that historically there is no circumstance under which power will ever be relinquished voluntarily. We are on a path, and we're going to go to the destination. I don't like it or want it, but it is what it is. It's one thing for people to be universally pissed off. It is something completely different for people to be united and organized to resist tyranny. Let's hope that being pissed off leads to some kind of constructive unity of purpose and results in a popular movement to regain lost freedoms.

Let's not fall for politicians who promise us false HOPE. What we really need is to trust each other and not the politicians.

Has anyone read the James Wesley Rawles book series? Patriots, survivors. I highly recommend reading them. I believe the future will be much like what happens in these books. Not a Civil War, but an engineered collapse, then when the masses kill each other off....Big .gov is formed to take full control and strip any remaining rights away from the remaining survivors.

The first challenge will be to survive. Then, band together with a common goal of fighting evil.
