New all time highs every day.
I've never seen so many super bull Jews. No one is bearish on Wall Street.
The gold bears are starting to come out and they are talking $1,000 gold.

Sounds great! Markets usually turns when optimism/pessimism is at its greatest. I aspecially like the fact they are bearish on gold, while bullish on stocks, looks like we will see dramatically lower DOW/Gold ratios ahead...

one effect of this market is that when people take profits, they pay taxes.

that effect was enough in the late '90's to cause the US gov. to actually run a surplus (or close) one year.

i have to wonder if the US gov drooling over capital gains taxes on stock sales is related to the actions of the Plunge Protection Team.

paradoxically, that temporary inflow of tax revenues reduces the deficit, and according to classic economic theory, helps to strengthen the US $.

possibly leading to a dip in PM prices.

however, at this point, the US gov. has moved out of the realm of classic "Newtonian" economics (where common sense is a reasonable guide.)

it is now more like Quantum economics.

Quantum physics tends to lead physicists & chemists to say things like, "if you think you understand it, you don't understand it."

since the US economy is in a state of extreme contraction, with the US gov. moving in to provide demand AND printing money like crazy, it's all pretty much bread & circuses - a Hollywood Economy.

as far as understanding it, i understand one thing -

YOU CAN'T TRUST THESE MOTHERFVCKERS !

We must be getting close to the crash. I have been suspecting the crash will be prompted by natural calamity. Wipe out 10 million people and 30 major cities.... I think that will about do it.

If the value of the currency drops by 50% why would you not suppose that the DOW will double in 'value'?

So even if your net is par yet you show a 100% gain that is then taxable.

Neat con game. The only way to win is to not play.
