Probably not! I travelled a couple of times through Baluchistan (Pakistan province bordering Iran), and I have had some amazing smokes on those journeys, and they seem to be well tuned to hiding their god given herbs from the man. Probably similar to hiding a bottle of whiskey in a bible in the US. A good Christian wouldn't like it maybe, but very few would rip you to threads for it...

I have some fine memory's of "bricks" looked more like a long (tapered) wedge of hashish that had "gold" tax seals. For sure kick ass. (1973-5)
