This video is about prison labor, one of the fastest growing and lucrative segments of our economy.

Remember back in the 80's when the airline reservation centers were using convicts to make airline reservations, that came to a screeching halt when people kept coming home to burgled houses.

Also remember Blackwater and their sex slaves we were paying for that too.

The 13th amendment specifically says slavery is still legal if it is punishment for a crime

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Black and white, clear as crystal.

In many states the chain gang is back.

But today's gang and shit is not at all like it used to be.

When I was working down in s lousiana, or lousylanna and mississippi and they (spelling intentional) used gangs for a bunch of illegal shit..

The view point is if you committed a crime, and were sent to a state 'resort' you lost all rights. which is a truth even now. The state has free reign to use you ass any way they want to.

May piss off some here but if convected, right or wrong, when in the system, you have no rights, except the ones they give you.

that is what being a 'Prisoner" is all about.

Edit:

Most of us have been locked up at one point in time, and got out.

Think about for the rest of your life.

Very few people can say they have never seen the insides of barrs.

If so count your blessings,,,

Slamming steel doors, and idiots screaming at all hours but

what

am I talking about

I have no clue.

just a guess.

I have fought the law and lost...

but also won, but not something to recommend to others.

Bunch of frigging bitches..

The (un)civil war (actually an international war) freed no slaves. It merely changed the masters of those who were slaves and created a new class of 'citizen' who is seated at the dinner table far below the salt.

Prison labor is an adaptation of socialized slavery developed by the Soviet communists. There is an outstanding description of this system in Alexander Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago.

Who would have imagined that our prison system has morphed into a series (gulag) of concentration camps? Particularly in this part of the world known as the land of the free and home of the brave? I predict that an American Solzhenitsyn will arise and let the world see how evil the people in charge of this country really are. One day we will be known as the Land of the Devil, and home of the Slave. Got rights? There's a cell for you, right down the hall.
