Yahoo news had an article on a woman with a rare bone disease today. It said the disease was caused by her drinking a pitcher of tea every day for 17 years. Each pitcher had up to 100 tea bags in it. The disease was related to fluoride. A blood check revealed her fluoride level was 4 times normal.
Normal just makes you dumb. Four times normal makes you ill.
Tea plants for destined for the U.S. is said to be fertilized with an extra dose of fluoride. Apparently they don't want smart citizens.

All of the imported tea has a mandate that it HAS to be watered with X amount fluoride ppm water or it can not be accepted. Haven't read on the fertilizer yet.

Just a thoughtful question, but how is this thread, which flagrantly and repetitively demeans and puts down a huge segment of the population by accusing them of stupidity any less prejudicial and bigoted than a typical chimp out or racially insensitive rant? Setting ignorance aside as a somewhat different issue, can truly stupid people with very low IQ's help being stupid? If someone is stupid how would they know they're stupid without other stupid people qualifying them as stupid? It's been my humble experience that the stupidest of stupid actually believe themselves to be much smarter than the majority of people. It's also been my experience that truly intelligent people eventually come to the enlightening realization in their lives that they themselves are in fact quite stupid. This advanced state of cognition is indeed the single most critical level of self realization for intelligent individuals to achieve in order to reach what is known as wisdom.
Thus spake Santa. And yes, I'm also well aware that I'm not only stupid, but that I'm also an incredibly annoying and complicated smart ass. ;D

Humanity has throughout history seen the interplay between stupid people and evil people. The evil people want power. And the stupid people give it to them. The evil people want to own everything, and the stupid people turn over all their wealth for the privilege of being stupid.
Stupid people are generally good people, although some are not. Evil people are generally not stupid, although some are. Stupid people are generally much more receptive to suggestion, and can be easily hypnotized. Evil people learn how to use the power of suggestion and hypnosis to take advantage of the goodness and humanity of the stupid people.
I generally feel safer hanging with the stupid people. I do like occasionally to hang with the evil people just to know what is coming. But I wouldn't want to actually belong to either group. I consider myself just an impartial observer. And I prefer to choose at any given time if I want to be stupid or evil. In that regard I consider myself an existential relativist. No pills for me. Or is there a pill that makes you smarter and more evil?

It's been my life experience that the more I have learned, the more informationally inadequate I feel. Everytime I learn of a new sphere of knowledge, I am reminded of how incredibly small and inconsequential I am, no matter long and hard I study. The world is truly vast from the standpoint of information and knowledge. But, what is truly shocking is how little is known by and how lacking in curiosity are most people around me. I think it is the human predisposition to repose and relaxation of mind and body. Some of us get the itch, for knowledge, for wisdom, for discovery, to feed our starving mind. I'm inclined to think that we are born with this proclivity as it seems innate and instinctual. In any event, I think the most precious thing we have is time, to learn, to experience, to explore and to enjoy. Because there is so much to do in the world, yet so little time to do it in.
How many times have
You heard someone say
If I had his money
I could do things my way
But little they know
That it's so hard to find
One rich man in ten
With a satisfied mind
Once I was winning
In fortune and fame
Everything that I dreamed for
To get a start in life's game
Then suddenly it happened
I lost every dime
But I'm richer by far
With a satisfied mind
Money can't buy back
Your youth when you're old
Or a friend when you're lonely
Or a love that's grown cold
The wealthiest person
Is a pauper at times
Compared to the man
With a satisfied mind
When life has ended
And my time has run out
My friends and my loved ones
Believe there's no doubt
But there's one thing for certain
When it comes my time
I'll leave this old world
With a satisfied mind
How many times have
You heard someone say
If I had his money
I could do things my way
But little they know
That it's so hard to find
One rich man in ten
With a satisfied mind

"Among the very ancient people of Sardinia, who were called Sardi or Sardoni, it was customary to kill old people. While killing their old people, the Sardi laughed loudly. This is the origin of notorious sardonic laughter (Eugen Fehrle, 1930), now meaning cruel, malicious laughter. In light of our findings things begin to look different. Laughter accompanies the passage from death to life; it creates life and accompanies birth. Consequently, laughter accompanying killing transforms death into a new birth, nullifies murder as such, and is an act of piety that transforms death into a new life." ;D

Jew-boo, you just can't help lying, can you. I didn't say that "noticing" stupidity in others was prejudicial or bigoted at all.
I asked a question whether putting stupid people down for being stupid was "no less" prejudicial and bigoted than any other form of prejudice and bigotry.
You however, twisted my words and LIED in an attempt to convince cebu that I'm the sophist Jew. What a laugh.
Lying in an attempt to convince others of your pathetic argument is the very definition of sophistry.
And for what, Jewboo? What's your purpose for twisting my words? What else but to cause internal conflict.
But you can't help it, can you, Jewboo? It's in the nature of a parasite and it's in your history to wallow and thrive in conflict.

I told my wife: "People think $250K income is rich." She laughed and I laughed. Living in rural PA, not a particularly high cost area, I can tell you that if you want to stay out of debt, save a little, and live a reasonable but not extravagant lifestyle, then $250K is just about reasonable and sure as hell not rich...I don't think $250K is rich. I earn more than that, and I will tell you that even living modestly and well under my expenses that I can never retire. I am 56 years and will probably die on the job. In my estimation, a family of four needs a minimum of $20 million in cash to retire.
