View Full Version : ATB NQ3 Hawaii selling over 100 oz... should I sell? Bubble?

I purchased every ATB coin so far, basically for wealth preservation, but now that the Hawaii puck appears to be in a bubble, I'm thinking of selling them. :)sal
The NQ3 Numismatic is $550.00 and rising
and the bullion one is now over $350.00
The conundrum is, should I sell these ones now and break up the sets, or hold them. ???
If I sell the money would fund solar panels or some other "SHTF" home improvement.

Sell them, and buy litecoins. ;D
In all seriousness, keep one for your collection, and sell the rest, and re-buy cheaper generic silver with the proceeds. If you can get 7 oz of generic silver for every 1 oz of those god-ugly coins, do it.

At this point in the economic arena, if I sold, I'd pay down my mortgage... I probably should sell the stuff worth over $120.00 oz.

Not these, but other ATB bullion coins have been showing up at the coin shop for 110 dollars. I feel sorry for those that paid 40.00+ dollars an ounce for them. dumfuks.

I made a decision this past year to invest money into solar power... put $14k into a battery system for essentials long term should the grid go down.
My concern is that we will see a weird deflationary depression with rising prices of certain things. Also, we could be engaged in a war that makes things unobtainable. My thought process is that I hope to still have the homestead. I do reckon the possibility that I could be driven out or hunted down for my beliefs. If I have to leave, all I will have is what I can carry. And if that happens, survival will take on its own personality.
For now, I am gambling toward reinforcing my position with practical junk. Silver is nice but it requires occasional boating accidents.
Part of that decision process should also be determined by where you are. I would not invest anything on the coast... any coast. If I were living in temporary or rental property, I would surely invest in things that can easily be carried and hidden. I would also find a hide place- a secure holding place maybe owned by a trustworthy friend or family member.
btw- I may put another $3-5k into more solar this year.

I wonder when they're going to mint a coin to commemorate all the prisoners in jail cells for violating their arbitrary drug laws.
