This is one of the best "hard times tokens" I've seen in a long time, and a great private issue piece. The only thing that bugs me is the $85 price tag for one oz of silver. But, art has a price, right?

Smooth edge marked "ONE TROY OZ . 999 SILVER".

I ended up buying one today, I really like the design. I'm thinking of making it my new pocket piece.

It looks like the eagle is screwing the dead pig. Very symbolic :p

the "star" next to "one trillion dollars" looks like a star of david. Interesting choice...

Pretty sure that's an asterisk. He probably learned his lesson from Mr. NotHaus who got busted for denominating his coins in dollars.

well I know what its supposed to be. it looks a lot like a star of david though.

When you get yours we need a close up!

EDIT: What font does this forum use? It renders an asterisk with 6 points. * My keyboard has it with 5 points, and other software I use, IRC, gchat, gmail, glassboard, etc renders it with 5 as well....

EDIT2: On topic though, I like the round. $85 is steep though.. :/

Are you going to keep it in an airtite at least? Great pocket piece, good for striking up a conversation and educating folks. Hate to see it get scratched up though.
