Hyperinflation requires either an excessive amount of printed notes and/or an alternate, competing currency in circulation.
There are 1.08 trillion FRNs in circulation with over half of those held overseas. A barely adequate supply.
The FRN does have an alternant, competing currency in circulation, credit.
All people will have to do is figure out which of those two competing currencies will retain their value as a medium of exchange the longest.
By the way, we've had capital controls in place in this country for over 30 years now, they were created with the War On Drugs.
