View Full Version : Understand Where We’re Headed: “The People of This Country… Will Take to The Streets”

Do you want to know why the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. military, and law enforcement officials are unabashedly expanding the control grid?

Charlie McGrath of Wide Awake News (http://www.wideawakenews.com/) explains:

We understand the expansion of the security industrial complex, the growing nature of the police state.

Billions of rounds of ammo, armored vehicles, fusion centers, drones being put in the air – there is no question of police state expansion.
The only question is why. Why are they doing it?

You can’t go to government for this answer, because if you do they’re just going to stone-wall the question. They don’t even believe you deserve a shoddy lie.

But if we use our heads and we look at real information, real data, the reason is self evident.

The fact is, the trajectory of our economy has been set for quite some time.

The U.S. Census Bureau says we have 146 million people either living in poverty or in a low income situation… 29.2% of the children in this country face food insecurities every single night… And over 20 million people in the United States are spending over half what they make to pay for housing alone…

We don’t see these millions of people in the streets right now.
Why?

Because we have social safety nets. Social safety nets that are promised to be yanked away. They’re warning us right now…
Understand where we’re headed…
Prepare for what is coming…
They’re not buying the ammunition… they’re not expanding the police state because they’re worried about terrorism.
They’re worried about incidents such as happened in Egypt and Tunisia.
When the people of this country have nothing, and the little bit that they do have, the little bit that they do earn, is going to pay for basic necessity items such as housing and food… they [will] take to the streets.
This is what I believe the government anticipates and I do believe this is what’s going to happen.
Video via Rense.com (http://rense.com/):

We are rapidly approaching a situation in this country where the majority of Americans will not be able to acquire the basic necessities for life. With tens of millions of people (http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/21-statistics-about-the-explosive-growth-of-poverty-in-america-that-everyone-should-know) unemployed, living in poverty and struggling just to make ends meet, it’s a wonder that the system hasn’t already collapsed in on itself.

For the time being government social safety nets have kept the restless at bay by providing assistance for food, medical care and housing. In fact, nearly half of Americans receive some form of benefit or distribution from the government (http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/spread-the-wealth-around-48-5-of-american-households-receive-government-benefits-6640-for-every-member-of-the-population_01252012) on a monthly basis.

Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is relentlessly expanding our monetary base while the US government borrows unfathomable amounts of money just to stay afloat and maintain a perception of stability. This has led to significant price increases in the things Americans need to survive – food, medicine and energy.

We will soon reach a point where government will be left with no choice but to make drastic cutbacks to these essential services, leaving all those who depend on that monthly check with absolutely nowhere to turn. These cuts may come in the form of actual lowered distribution amount, or in the form of inadequate adjustments for inflation (http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/inflation-charts).

When those who are already struggling just to get by no longer have the social support or sufficient wage to acquire critical goods and services, really bad things are going to happen.

They’re going to take to the streets in droves, and you can be assured that the government will not be benevolent in how they’re dealt with.

The lucky ones will likely be rounded up, detained and deported to camps operated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/detainment-camps-going-live-fema-seeking-subcontractors-to-provide-temporary-camp-services-in-all-50-states_12072011).

The unlucky ones… they’ll become government democide statistics (http://www.shtfplan.com/alex-jones/democide-government-killed-over-260-million-in-the-20th-century-poised-to-kill-billions-more-in-the-21st_03162012).

We can pretend everything’s alright and that the government isn’t taking steps to maintain control at any cost, but it won’t change the outcome.

I like Charlies 5min blurbs of recents events.

They tend to be pretty serious and concise.

the Banksters have quite a scam going.

they actually get the Prisoners to pay for the Prisons - AND for the bankster salaries.

but as TS continues to HTF, i think TPTB will continue to rely on that large open-air prison known as "Suburbia".

especially as real fuel prices continue to rise. 'prisoners' will be stuck in their tract-home prisons, monitored 24/7 by various local, state, & federal government agencies.

with that humongous NSA info-warehouse out in Utah somewhere in the middle of the Bankster watch-the-citizens-they-might-get-restless infrastructure.

i just wish the NSA would share their hard drive reliability stats with us ! :) though i'd settle for a good set of Google hard drive stats.

hard drive reliability has gone to SH.T as capacities have gone above 1.5 GB. separate subject :)

though whatever hard drive the NSA has my info on - i hope it crashes. :)

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (http://www.leap.cc/) is an invaluable organization as we continue our fight to end the harmful consequences of cannabis prohibition. As enforcers of harmful drug laws, LEAP members know first-hand the massive law enforcement resources that go into waging the Drug War and the futile nature of waging this war against our own citizens. I encourage activists across the country to contact LEAP to garner their support of your local efforts. Also, it never hurts to utilize LEAP’s great speakers to address any drug law reform event or town hall meeting. I would like to express a sincere thanks to LEAP on behalf of NCC for working to end the harmful and failed policy of cannabis prohibition.

Nobody will be taking to the streets in America. Legalized marijuana will keep them passively sitting in front of jew teevee.

If the people living in the US haven't done it by now, they are not going to do it.

If the people living in the US haven't done it by now, they are not going to do it.

Why do you say that? The article is quite concise about why they haven't done it yet, and I think it is spot on. The social safety net continues to expand. The takers now comprise 47% of the country, with more added each day. This explains the lack of revolt.

But the safety net is stretching thin. The final stage will soon be played out, where there will be a sustained effort to prevent the people from seeing that the safety net is threadbare. The final trump card for this is inflation. Inflation works slowly and deceptively, and they have created such a complex structure, it can be hard to quantify. Notice the complexity of the newly-proposed Obama budget, which introduces chained-CPI for social security, but includes exemptions based on assets, and bonuses at certain age thresholds. As such, it's very difficult for people to recognize their forward-looking condition, so their judgement remains based on whether they have food in front of them while they watch television. The revolt begins when that goes away.

By then it's too late for a revolution. Won't have enough strength to even waddle down to the FEMA camp.

Yes they will, it won't be decause they lost their freedom but rather because they lost their welfare checks and their food stamps.......If the government coul keep on going by giving them all that all the time the people would continued to be the sheeps that they are......only hunger will make them angry.
