I got two walking liberty half's today at spot price

That's so true. I was noticing how brilliant some of them still are after fifty and one hundred years. The gold too. Amazingly strong currency!

Walkers are my favorite 90%, besides Morgans. They generally sell for a nice little premium.

Nice. My favorite is the Franklin Half, minted 1948-63, after the Walking Liberty. I remember still seeing them in circulation when I was a little kid, so it evokes some fond memories. It's great that this stuff is available at spot price.
