30 day trial of Camtasia

http://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasia/

basically you need a faster dual core and can get by with 3.25 GB of memory to run it.

it does full-screen captures and then renders them as Flash and/or Quicktime files.

Freemake (http://www.freemake.com/) has been my personal favorite utility. Can recode an entire DVD movie into less than 1GB:

H.264 video 512 x 288 30fps 400kbps is a good-quality rip for Youtube HD 1080p or 720p or 460p MP4 files. This size is a perfect exact 16:9 Widescreen ratio divisible by 16. The most efficient encoding math possible. Looks decent full screen on HDTV screens.

Use 384 x 288 30fps 300kbps for Standard 4:3 Screen. A perfect exact 4:3 Standard screen ratio divisible by 16. The most efficient encoding math possible. Looks decent full screen on HDTV screens.

:) Hey gunDriller: I keep They Live on a thumb drive to share and it takes up less than 1GB.

The government wants you to stop, since you love them so much you better obey.
