I'm waiting in a paid delivery from http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/metals.html
Their web site seems to be running as normal.
When I click on my account or even to make a buy a screen pops up that says they are moving to a new server. There is no contact info.
What bothers me is that they do not return email or phone calls.
Anybody?

Never purchased from them ronT.
Good luck on getting your metals.

I just hope that they, Like all of the smaller dealers, are not able to get silver product right now - maybe not for a few months.
I just hope their business is not folding.
BTW, osoab, Maybe your second Mencken quote would read better in these days if the word "contrived' was substituted for 'imaginary'. I fear that most of the threats are real & dire?

Have you found any other comments on the web for lack of info for silverbear orders? If they are selling metals without direct inventory, that would be a big red flag for me.
Have they already accepted your payment?
About the Mencken quote. It's his quote. Contrived does make more sense, but we still have a multitude of imaginary boogeymen thrown at us along with the contrived "evil-doers".

Well, folks, all may be well. I got thru on the tel. just now and they are in "busily and busily minting as we speak" and "my order should go out on Friday next week".
Were they just short handed yesterday and my inability to access my account on line (still) just a coincidence?
At any rate Silver Bear Cafe has been around for a long time and does a wonderful job covering gold & silver and just about everything else.

Yes 'they' do have us chasing shadows. Misdirection is keeping most folks unaware of the realities.
As I said about Silver Bear; They have been around for a long time. Like most coin sellers that have unique coins they have to have somebody else to mint them and do get payment before commissioning the product. They use the buyers money. Float.
The only thing is that silver supplies could cause delays but I don't think that is happening except in supplies of Silver Eagle coins because of the sharp increase in demand at this time.

Silver Bear Cafe has their coins minted at http://coinsforthecause.com/
There is always a delay waiting for yor check to clear plus another 5 to 10 days Even Apmex does it.
So I'll let yo know when the order ships.
