If you thought Boy Scout organizations were just for boys, think again.

There's a relatively new Boy Scout-affiliated organization meeting at the Frankel Jewish Academy, 6600 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield, and 10 of its 12 members are female.

The group, formed in August, is part of a Boy Scout program called Venture that's designed for youths ages 14 to 20. Known as Venture Crew 18, the group is devoted to outdoor adventure and community service. For information, call the group's adviser, Allen Olender, at 248-797-2993, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

Oh both sexes? What about those children that are gender confused, they will feel even more on the outside now. All scout groups should be forced by law to have at least one transgender child in each group, or they will be faced with a charge of hate crime!

And don't forget the smiling ADL/SPLC Jewish transgender child guidance counselor that will be needed within each Venture Scout troop to prevent hate crimes among the children.
