There was a thread posted here, quite a while ago, with this guy (he seemed like a professor or some kind of educated guy) talking about the dual money system in ancient egypt. How they had gold and silver as one system, but they also had a system of grain-based money where you'd take your grain to the storehouse and get a receipt. He called these two types of money masculine and feminine. I believe he was of egyptian or some type of similar decent. It was a youtube video in some type of office or library room or something.
