I suspect many have read this before. If so then perhaps it bears reading again. Most people aren't used to thinking in terms of contracts or believe that a signed document is needed to engage in one. This is not good reasoning. A contract can be formed by actions as much as words. That which is offered to you by a salesman is silently accepted by not responding to it within 72 hours. A signature is only required if the value is greater than the limit established by the Statute of Fraud.
Your use of FRNs is such an invisible contract. It is what makes Title 26 active (IRS code). This is law you choose to accept when someone hands you a $1 bill or that you choose to reject when you turn them down.
