Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio adds to its fat portfolio (16!) of coasters with GateKeeper, which debuts Saturday. The steel, wing roller coaster will suspend riders 170 feet above the Cedar Point Beach then send them hurtling through six inversions and stomach-dropping falls at close to 70 mph.

Funny that you posted this. I was just daydreaming on my way into work about jumping on the bike and taking a road trip there (~600 miles ). This post must be the "get off your ass and do it" nudge that I needed!

Looks like a fun coaster... the inversion on the initial drop makes it something I would want to ride.

Never did much like the straight-down drops... not fun for me.
