This was a weird story. It reads like he had this pain for a few days then he topped himself. Pretty strong reaction. Maybe he had the problem for years or something. I hope it wasn't just a reaction to food protiens. Can cause strong pain under rib cages and in the gut.

So can a blown out back and lack of chiropractor.

good point, chiro and physio are two excellent natural things you can use for a lot of ailments and many times ones you would think are completely unrelated to your underlying skeletal or muslcular systems. The ailments that chiro can help with can be pretty surprising sometimes. Body functions and rythms can be affected by things being out of alignment.

if people don't know the history behind chiropractic and especially in the US it's worth looking into. Chiropractors were virtually hounded into exile.

To me it sounds like he had a rib out of alignment. It is one of the most intense pains you can suffer. It feels like someone stabs you with a knife in the chest and twists it around, and breathing in is almost impossible. It is very easy to fix this though, and the pain is completely benign (unless it drives you to suicide), after a couple of days it eases off even without any intervention, but you would like to have this fixed ASAP!
