Just further proof there is little remaining paper support for pm's, especially silver. This is the end game. FOFOA always said the paper longs were the ones that were going to get hammered. This is playing out exactly as he said.

Yeah, it's probably easier than buying silver right now! ;)

Silver Price Down 7% Right After Asian Opening (http://goldsilverworlds.com/gold-silver-price-news/silver-price-down-7-right-after-asian-opening/) Gold Silver Worlds (http://goldsilverworlds.com/author/gold-silver-profits/) | May 20, 2013 | Articles: Gold Silver Prices (http://goldsilverworlds.com/category/gold-silver-price-news/) | 0 Comments (http://goldsilverworlds.com/gold-silver-price-news/silver-price-down-7-right-after-asian-opening/#comments) Tags: gold price (http://goldsilverworlds.com/tag/gold-price/), silver price (http://goldsilverworlds.com/tag/silver-price/)

At the time of writing, it is midnight GMT (London) / 7 PM EST (New York) / 8 AM in Tokyo. The Asian market opened less than an hour ago. Large parts of Europe have a bank holiday today. So that means very thin trading. What happens? Really seconds after opening of Asian trading silver falls down from $22.3 to $20.8 in a matter of minutes. The chart shows the opening of Asian trading at 5PM on the X-axis.
One or another market participant dumped a large amount of silver futures in ultra thin trading which is not capable of absorbing it. Gold opened lower, but not to the same extent as silver. The US dollar is flat. The Yen had a similar spike right after the Asian opening, but to the upside (see below).

http://goldsilverworlds.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/silver_price_chart_20_may_2013.gif Gold was down but not to the same extent as silver. Gold had a 2% loss at its peak and less selling volume.

http://goldsilverworlds.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/gold_price_chart_20_may_2013.gif The violent strengthening of the Yen (which is displayed as the spike down on the following chart) follows comments from the Japanese Economy Minister over the weekend. From Zerohedge (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-05-19/japan-economy-minister-yens-excessive-strength-has-been-largely-corrected-and-furthe), some quotes from the Japanese Minister: ”The yen’s excessive strength has been largely “corrected,” and further weakness could be harmful, Japan’s economy minister said Sunday, suggesting the Japanese government may be happy with the currency’s current level.” And also: ”If the yen keeps on weakening a lot more, it will have a negative impact on peoples’ lives.”

Sure, there is no currency war. And money printing comes without consequences. And regulators are there to stimulate fair trading.
Meantime, as we finish this article (20 minutes after we did start), silver is back again at the $21,5 level, gaining back a large part of the sudden crash.

BRICS to revalue gold to 5000 to 7000 after economic collapse

silver 250

SLV ... they can shut it down when ever they want and if silver is at a low price , everyone gets paid at the price that day in cash ,probably have to wait for their money, meanwhile silver takes off.

The SLV is a gigantic scam

Yeup... I think we are watching the end game of the metals markets before the money system reset. SLV will cash out positions just like the COMEX will do. And that last vid is right. Once they get the paper price low enough, JPM gets out of the short positions squeaky clean.

I differ on the concern for the mining companies. Many will shut down if they cannot profit.... or if they have the working capital, they will stock up on their silver holdings until the prices come back up. Either way, the price of physical will at some point take a (dare I say?) screaming rocket blast upward. That fella is right.... be looking for any opportunity to add physical silver. I am hoping the paper price will stay down for a month so that there can be some cheaper mint deliveries.

Keep watching for the news of JPM closing out short positions. To do that, they will have to buy in and that will pump the price up. I think that is the trigger to light the fuse.

can we change the 10 to 1 or maybe 2. The need to cash out is growing faster than time is passing by.
