Usually, when something happens in a way that I think is strange or illogical, or even irrational, I try to answer the question "Who wants it this way?' It's because shit doesn't just happen. Somebody wills it. And it appears that whoever wants this world to be like it is are the people who have declared themselves 'too big to fail'.

I also occasionally ask myself 'If the government doesn't act on the will of the people, do the people have any obligation to support and obey that government? My answer consistently comes up a big 'No.'
