Research for this has been going on for years. I saw a doco of a Japanses scientist who was 'recyling' protein from human faeces and making burgers out of it. He went to his freezer and pulled out a plastic bag with a 'meat' like patty in it which was labelled, I kid you not, "Shit Burger".

I laughed uncontrolably, he then proceeded to cook it up and eat it, then I wasn't laughing so much as dry reaching.
