We demonstrate a new method for the direct conversion of heat to electricity
using the recently discovered multiferroic alloy, Ni

. This alloy
undergoes a low hysteresis, reversible martensitic phase transformation
from a nonmagnetic martensite phase to a strongly ferromagnetic austenite
phase upon heating. When biased by a suitably placed permanent magnet,
heating through the phase transformation causes a sudden increase of the
magnetic moment to a large value. As a consequence of Faraday’s law of
induction, this drives a current in a surrounding circuit. Theory predicts
that under optimal conditions the performance compares favorably with the
best thermoelectrics. Because of the low hysteresis of the alloy, a promising
area of application of this concept appears to be energy conversion at small

, suggesting a possible route to the conversion of the vast amounts of
energy stored on earth at small temperature difference. We postulate other
new methods for the direct conversion of heat to electricity suggested by the
underlying theory.

The earth probably already uses this method to generate a magnetic field. Now all we need to find is a large enough inductor to transform the earths magnetic field to usable energy over a period of, say, 50,000 years between pole reversals (aka vvvvvvvvvvvvvvlf magnetic flux reversals).

China has something resembling a HAARP array of antennas in their Area 51. This 'grid' is in the same general area as the HAARP antennas. Maybe the Chinese figured out a way to power this without causing disruptions in their electric power system.

I checked out the general area on Google Earth. There is an extensive 'grid pattern' over a very large area about 100 miles west of this HAARP site at roughly the same latitude--at these coordinates:

43° 8'36.18"N
91° 0'54.26"E

You can see the grid pattern clearly at about 20,000 feet altitude. If you drop your eye level to around 5000 feet and look around you can see what looks like several sets of electrical transmission lines that appear to originate in this grid, and go east toward the HAARP site. Also, there are many strange things on the ground between this grid and the HAARP site, and I'm trying to figure out what they are.

Also, if you look at about 5000 feet at the individual diamonds in the grid, you will see some square patterns of dots arranged in a line through the centers of those diamonds lengthwise. This is a very interesting mystery.
