A Gokwe woman, 67, has confessed to practising witchcraft as well as possessing 10 goblins that are terrorising fellow villagers.
In a case that has left villagers under Chief Njelele stunned, Ms Clara Mashoko disclosed that she had decided to "confess" because her deceased victims are causing her sleepless nights as they always appear in her dreams.
The self-confessed witch added that the goblins had become more demanding. She is appealing to traditional healers and some of the country's renowned prophets to come to her rescue.
Ms Mashoko, who claims to have been a witch since the age of five, revealed that the goblins have since started sexually abusing her.
In an unsolicited interview with The Sunday Mail last week, Ms Mashoko described her life as a living hell.
"My life is now a living hell. My goblins are now tormenting me. I am also being haunted by dead people who always appear in my dreams. I am now tired of witchcraft and I am looking for anyone who can assist me to get rid of the goblins as well as extricating me from witchcraft," she said.
Ms Mashoko added that she was forcibly recruited into witchcraft by her paternal grandmother following the death of her parents.
"I grew up an orphan," she said.
"I don't know my parents because they died before I was even five. I was recruited into witchcraft by my grandmother at a very tender age and it has been part of my life ever since," she said.
A distraught-looking Ms Mashoko disclosed that she has approached several traditional healers as well as Chief Njelele in her bid to seek deliverance.
"I have lost all my cattle, goats and property to so many self-styled tsikamutandas in trying to get rid of the goblins as well as retiring from the trade, but to no avail.
"Now I am desperately in need of help and seeking to accept Jesus Christ into my life, but my goblins are proving to be a stumbling block.
"My village head and the chief are working tirelessly to find assistance from well-wishers as well as other traditional healers who can deal with this matter once and for all," she said.
Chief Njelele confirmed that Ms Mashoko approached him seeking assistance.
The traditional leader said he was in the midst of engaging his counterparts so as to come up with the most appropriate solution.
Village head Mr Amos Dube, who refuses to set foot on Ms Mashoko's homestead, says villagers are now living in fear.
"My subjects no longer want to associate with Ms Mashoko because of her practices. However, we are more than willing to reintegrate her into the society if she genuinely repents," he said.

A goblin is a legendary evil or mischievous creature; a grotesquely evil or evil-like phantom.
They are attributed with various (sometimes conflicting) abilities, temperaments and appearances depending on the story and country of origin. In some cases, goblins have been classified as constantly annoying little creatures somewhat related to the brownie and gnome. They are usually depicted as small, sometimes only a few inches tall, sometimes the size of a dwarf. They also often are said to possess various magical abilities. They are also very greedy and love money.
