Placing 16 super magnets into a shotgun shell. This might give more unified punch, less ripping penetration.

It would have been interesting to see if they did a longer distance shot, would they all join back together?

Here's another interesting idea. Want to ignite a target? Flint in the tip will do it.

btw- don't try drilling into a live round. Just a bullet head before it is loaded into the shell.

I've always wondered what would happen if a projectile of rare earth magnet were detonated into a fine powder near electronics. Would it create an emp?

I dunno but I figure there's a reason they outlawed BuckyBalls. Probably screws up the function of mini-drones.

Would a regular bullet have penetrated that?

One of the comments was- yes. The flint just sparked all over the place. I think this would be a great fuel tank igniter... if yuh know whuttamean.
If you use 3030 rounds... don't load them into a barrel /tube storage of a lever action. That might just give a catastrophic multiple priming ignition.

I'm surprised the magnets maintained their structure and didn't break apart into a million little pieces. I have a set of rare earth magnets and they're notoriously brittle.
