Obama Africa trip may cost $100M (hey, transporting limos isn't cheap)

Nobody can accuse the Obamas of traveling light. When the president and FLOTUS head to sub-Saharan Africa later this month, they'll reportedly be taking several hundred Secret Service agents, 56 support vehicles (including 14 limousines), fighter jets to fly around-the-clock over presidential airspace, a Navy aircraft carrier to serve as a floating hospital, and three truckloads of bulletproof glass to cover the Obamas' hotel windows. The total cost is estimated anywhere between $60 million and $100 million dollars. "The security requirements are not White House-driven, they are Secret Service-driven," security adviser Ben Rhodes said. Before you get your presidential panties all in a bunch, remember that George W. Bush and Clinton had similar security measures during their own African trips. Can't blame them for wanting to go visit Obama's birth place

Three truck loads of bullet proof glass to cover windows?

These people have no concept of how much work we have to bust our asses to pay for this trip. For one fucking guy.

If he's that worried about his lunch money being taken, stay home. There's no reason to go.

The comments are priceless. The best one..."Leaving him there would be totally justified!"

I hope that word that this is a spearhead advanced invasion force from America with the commander in chief personally in charge is not leaked.
