how come AT&T customers get emergency alerts, and G-S.us member don't ?

besides the fact that we don't want to hear anything Obama has to say.

Yeah, I'm still using a Tracfone. You can get them unregistered to your name by just registering them with a fake name and address. Easy.

I'm wondering about using a jailbroken Android or iPhone. I would have it as a mobile laptop, and not use it for phone calls. Anyone have any info on this?

I understand completely, and I was a bit late to jump onboard with the smart phone. I must admit, it is an amazing tool. I downloaded marine charts and instantly the phone became a hand held marine GPS chart plotter. Marine chart plotters can cost several hundred dollars.

Your phone can give you weather info instantly, traffic info, you can play games with family/friends on the dang thing...

The problem is you willing give up your privacy for these conveniences. I figure I'm a nobody, out of millions of folks I can't imagine .fed taking any interest in me. If that becomes a concern, overboard the smart phone goes...

Threw out my cell a couple of years ago. Haven't looked back since. Work requires I carry one 8-4, but, that is the only time its on or in my possession. I've learned again how to make appts on time and it forces people I know to stick to commitments, since they now don't have a way of contacting me. Have one for work (if you "need" to), but, for your personal time, ditch the tracking device.........

I don't think having a smart phone is that uncommon. Out of the four people I work with daily, two don't have a phone at all, one has a dumb phone, and one has an old school pager. I have a dumb phone that is off and in a kitchen drawer except when I'm on call. All communication is done by email.

Tracking and the radio waves making your ear and brain hot. Some gut was doing a study long ago about cell phones and when he produced the facts of what it did to kids brains he was terminated. Not sure if he suicided or what but no other information was available on him last I looked.

You know the tracking app is default, if you get one of these there is a way to shut it off. What I remember is you can shut it off on most before using it but after it becomes real complicated and on some not at all.

Edit: reformatted and do not have any of these links... sigh.

As bad as the tracking and snooping is that intrusion goes both ways.

The abilty for the average joe or jane to see or hear Anything and upload it minutes to net and the abilty to go viral has been the most powerful we have had.

The last major events have all stemmed from their technology being used against them.

I don't think they will actually let you turn tracking off. Turning off tracking from your friends sure. Gov will always have tracking.

My concern isn't that they are tracking and listening to me in real time. They probably aren't like you said we are more or less nobodies.

The big concern is that they are storing all the information indefinitely, all your texts, recording all phone conversations and all your movement patterns.

If at some point they decide you are a terrorist because of your political leanings or whatever or their computers 5-10 years from now data-mine you and determine you are a terrorist just because you like freedom.

They know everything about you. They know all your friends, relatives where you like to hang out, where you go camping, if you are a gun owner or not etc. Good luck escaping the drag net even if you got a heads up because they were rounding others up. They would know every place you might go to hide out or for help. You would be totally on your own.

Best to cut off their intel now. Your business is none of theirs.

a lot of the new tracking technology is being used at the same time that new electro-toys are coming out.

new cell-phones, etc.

i think people look at the surveillance as "just part of the deal".

if you want to play Farmville on your iPhone-8, you just get surveilled.

plus most of the technology consumers have no desire to materially impede the Jew World Order. Many of them are not even aware of the JWO.

the US gov. has been doing digital surveilling, at least in cities, since the mid-90's. i say that based on job interviews for computer graphics work where i was shown the network, by someone with a high security clearance.

there's 'buy-in' because the US gov., although often clumsy, has a lot of experience running surveillance operations domestically.

for example, the CIA would naturally watch the Soviet & Chinese embassies in San Francisco, and the Venezuelan Consulate - in San Francisco.

a lot of the wiring & procedure is in place. they just need more bandwidth.

plus that is where many of the jobs are, e.g. the 1+ million Americans with Top Secret security clearances. and their families. and their communities.

in some areas, e.g. San Diego, where the military & homeland security state are 2 of the biggest employers, most people don't give a shit about the surveillance. because they and/or their customers and/or their neighbors and/or their families and/or their friends work for the fvcking Police State - it's one of the few parts of the economy that has been robust.

though it may have some minor cutbacks because of the Sequester, but Homeland Security generally gets priority in spending.

don't forget, Homeland Security = Jobs for Jews + Jobs for Shabbas Goyim.

you don't think they're going to suck hind tit, do you ?
