DHS Claims Billions of Bullets Purchased Were “Clerical Error”

A fellow named Steve Knepp came across some agents of the Department of Homeland Security in Philadeplhia that claimed that the 2 billion bullets ordered by his agency was “quite possibly a clerical error.”
The agent told Mr. Knepp that it was absurd that people think that DHS would even have enough money to buy that many bullets all at once. The information that Mr. Knepp had seen, such as the work orders from the DHS that millions have seen, are just a mistake

I saw that. Basically the guy was talking to a DHS officer in a train station, so the officer was obviously talking out of his arse. I think the title (as presented on WRHdotcom) is a little misleading. The video is worth a watch though.

the slightly odd official explanation is that the order for the bullets was placed preemptively. that they don't plan on taking delivery, they are just getting their place in line (first in line.)
a bit of paperwork magic so that, if they decide that they DO need that many bullets, the wheels are already in motion.
so the DHS is just 'being prepared'. what's the problem ? /sarc
1.5 Billion bullets. 300 million Americans. 5 bullets per American. that's the problem.
i wonder how many bullets Stalin had - and how many guns Soviet citizens were allowed to have ?
i have a feeling that guns were controlled in Stalinist Russia too.

I still say that all this is a misdirection because the ammo is really going to the armed forces in preparation for the next WWIII and the US government don't want to alert the "to be" enemies......anyone knows how I can check out the new contracts from the US government for uniforms, boot, MER's, weeb gear, and so on?

you just go to General Accounting Office or similar department. a web search for "US Gov military procurement" should take you there.
they rely a lot on outside contractors. any one of us could apply.
i have an oak toilet seat i was going to donate to a secondhand store. i wonder if i could sell it to the US gov. ?
honestly, they buy some wierd stuff.

I, for one, don't believe anything any government official says. They lie so often, it is safer to just assume everything they say is a lie. Janet Napolitano denies the existence of an Orwellian state. http://intellihub.com/2013/06/17/janet-napolitano-denies-existence-of-orwellian-state/
How can she deny this? What really blows me away is not that the government lies so much, but that so many people believe those lies. We are cursed for living in a nation of dunces.
