An earth house is usually set partially into the ground and covered with thin growth. Modern earth houses are built with concrete walls and insulation. Earth houses are some of the most energy efficient.

I think these are excellent style houses. My plan is to carve into the top of an hill, build the home and back fill. I also like Gurt style homes, so a round earth home would fit my bill poi-fectly. All I need now is a hill, a house and peace.
