An anti-bank activist who faced more than a decade behind bars for using chalk to voice his protests against Bank of America was found not guilty of vandalism on Monday.

A jury found Jeff Olson, 40, not guilty on all charges, according to NBC San Diego (http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/Jeff-Olson-Man-Tried-for-Chalk-Drawings-Found-Not-Guilty-213878081.html?_osource=SocialFlowTwt_SDBrand).

Olson was charged with 13 counts of vandalism (http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/06/26/california-man-could-face-a-decade-in-jail-for-chalking-no-thanks-big-banks/) by San Diego City Attorney Jan Goldsmith for writing statements such as “No thanks, big banks” and “Shame on Bank of America” in front of Bank of America branches last year.

Mayor Bob Filner had described (http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-chalk-dispute-20130629,0,2268535.story) the prosecution of Olson as a waste of resources and “a stupid case.”

Gotta love Jury Nullification even if the jurors never heard of it before. They told the prosecution to go pound sand.

Was it Jury Nullification? I only read that the jury found the defendant not guilty. If it were nullified by the jury, wouldn't the case simply be dismissed? But I also wonder if the press would even mention Jury Nullification.

TPTB don't like for the general public to know about Jury Nullification.

What did the judge tell the jury ?

What did the courthouse tell the media ?

Thank God for the jury! Even though BofA paid off the corrupt judge Howard Shore; (Judge Issues Gag Order In Trial Of Man Accused Of Writing Chalk Messages Outside BofA Branches.) they could not stop common sense.

Big surprise, this waste of time and resources brought by City Attorney Jan Goldsmith (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Jewish_American_mayors).

It's pretty obvious they're all in this together. He's not watching out for his city, he's watching out for his tribe.
