there's a whole generation of retards running around with earbuds on 24/7. they'll all be deaf by age 60.
my mother in law, 84 is almost completely deaf. set her up with a clarity cell phone and miikey bluetooth headphones. set up wireless headphones for her tv.
my phone is going off the hook from her friends calling me for similar setups. apparently there is an untapped world of old deaf people yearning for somebody to sit down with them for an hour or two and give them reasonably priced hearing options.
