So was it just him, or were there other people involved too? Was there any police involvement?

Well, at least he ain't cowering down, especially after having been jailed and pretty much marked by TPTB. I'll give him bonus points too for doing it in sight of the WH and it's good hearing him say, what we all already know, "the next American revolution". What it means in the big scheme of things IDK?

Adam K. under investigation for DC shotgun
D.C. police are investigating libertarian activist and radio host Adam Kokesh after he released a video showing himself loading a shot gun in the middle of Freedom Plaza in Washington.

In the video, Kokesh loads the shot gun four times as he stands in the plaza on Thursday with the Capitol building clearly shown behind him.

“We will not be silent, we will not obey, we will not allow our government to destroy our humanity,” Kokesh says as he loads the gun. “We are, the final, American, revolution. See you next Independence Day.”

Kokesh had been planning a march into Washington of 1,000 gun-toting activists for July 4, but the march was ulitmately canceled. Washington Metropolitan Police had pledged to arrest marchers who planned to openly carry rifles into the city in violation of District law.

Washington Metropolitan Police and the U.S. Park Police said in a statement Thursday they are aware of the video and are currently investigating.

“The Metropolitan Police Department and U.S. Park Police are aware that today Adam Kokesh posted a video that appears to have been taken in Freedom Plaza in Northwest, D.C. We are in the process of determining the authenticity of the video.”

Washington has some of the strictest gun laws in the country.

It's true, they can't prove anything, can they? Prop guns, fake backdrop, all very easy to do nowadays.

Me wonders if he's purposely trying to get Americans to "fight back" in order for martial law to be declared, hmmmmm............ There seems to be something fishy about the guy.

HERNDON, Va. - FOX 5 has confirmed that U.S. Park Police along with Herndon Police are serving a search warrant at the home of Adam Kokesh, a pro-gun activist who was seen on a YouTube video posted on July 4th (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sAGGoPidEY) loading a shotgun in Freedom Plaza.
Roads have been blocked off in the area of the 1500 block of Snow Flake Court in Herndon and residents have been told to stay indoors while police serve the warrant.
In the video, Kokesh, a former Marine, appears to load red shells into a pump-action shotgun while addressing the camera in Freedom Plaza, which is U.S. parkland.
Kokesh said, "We will not be silent. We will not obey. We will not allow our government to destroy our humanity."
Kokesh threatened to lead an armed march from Virginia into D.C. on the Fourth of July, but later backed away from the plan. At the end of the video, Kokesh hints it may happen in the future. As Kokesh loads shells in to the shotgun, he tells the camera: “We are the final American revolution. See you next Independence Day."
Darryl Young, Kokesh's roommate and a political activist, defended Kokesh's actions.
"The point is we have the right to bear arms in all states," he said. "We shouldn't set standards of laws by imaginary lines called borders. In the state of Virginia, it's an open carry state where you can legally open carry, but in the District [of Columbia], the only people allowed to walk with firearms are the criminals themselves."
D.C. Police Chief Lanier told us on July 4th, "You're allowed to have a rifle [or] shotgun registered for your home, if you're a D.C. resident and it's registered for the protection of your home. You can transport it through the District of Columbia as well. But there are rules for that transport. What [Kokesh] did [Thursday] morning, if in fact that was a real firearm [with] real ammunition, would be a violation of the law."

Kokesh, a former Marine, was being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, charged with possession of schedule I and II drugs while in possession of a firearm, said Lt. Steve Elbert, a spokesman for the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office.

Yeah that's what I would do too. Knowing the feds will eventually come and bust into my house I will pick up a loaded shotgun and stuff my pockets with magic mushrooms. Makes perfect sense to me.

WASHINGTON - Shackled with his hands behind him, wearing shorts and barefoot, veteran and activist Adam Kokesh was ordered held without bond on two felony drug charges in court Thursday morning.

Kokesh, a controversial activist seen loading a gun on video in D.C. last week, appeared before a camera in a wheelchair during his arraignment at a Fairfax County courthouse.

"He happened to be in a wheeled chair because he did not want to walk," said 1st Lt Steve Elbert, Fairfax County Sheriff's Office.

He refused to speak to the judge who asked him if he was Adam Kokesh.

The judge appointed a public defender for Kokesh.

Kokesh was to be arraigned Wednesday but he refused to get out of his cell, be photographed and fingerprinted following his Tuesday night arrest.

The arrest came after U.S. Park Police searched Kokesh's home Tuesday evening.

A blog post on Kokesh's website said he had been arrested.

The post notes that the Herndon police "assisted in the armed invasion" and the officers "used a battering ram to knock in the door after two knocks, and did not announce that they had a warrant."

A flash bang grenade was also used, according to Kokesh's website.

Kokesh faces two drug charges, including one involving possession of a firearm. The Fairfax County Sheriff's Department tells WTOP the charges are possession of a Schedule 1 or 2 drug and possession of a Schedule 1 or 2 drug while in possession of a firearm.

Kokesh is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

On July 4 a video was posted on YouTube showing Kokesh loading a shotgun in D.C's Freedom Plaza, which is against the law in the District.

U.S Park Police and Herndon police tell WTOP they were at his home in Herndon, Va. Tuesday night, July 9, serving the search warrant.

Roads were blocked off near Kokesh's home on Snowflake Court and his neighbors were told to stay inside.

So what happens when you poke a beehive with a stick?

Was the beehive moving its hive into your home, stinging everyone inside, eating all of the honey, leaving a massive mess, overtaking each room with a new hive, stinging your dogs, killing other rival bees leaving dead bee bodies all over your home, and CONSTANTLY keep coming back after you nicely moved them far away from your home?

I think i would use more than just a 'stick' to get rid of them.

How long will he stay in jail? He is asking for bail and atty money so that looks like a roadblock. I hate when they label people as anti government, even though they are. I think it's more anti illegal government. When is he supposed to appear before a judge?

Where O where is pilini when you need his worthy advice.

A D.C. Superior Court judge has ordered a veteran and activist accused of openly carrying a shotgun in D.C.'s Freedom Plaza

Freedom Plaza, the place where you enjoy so much freedom if you decide to make a political statement you are arrested and held without bond.

Remember folks, this man committed no crime, he hurt nobody and infringed on nobody's rights. He simply made a statement by possessing an object the ruling class made a rule against. Unfortunately most people do not understand the difference between actually hurting someone and breaking an arbitrary rule decreed by men in DC.

Kokesh had been arrested and charged with drug-related offenses
