I disagree. I think they just need clarification. Manslaughter instructions are rather complex. They are just going down the list.

If Zimmerman isn't let go, I'm going to kill me a cracker.

I wonder what the sentence would be for manslaughter? Not as much as murder, but he's not walking free either.

Mandatory 9¼ Years and on top of that, the judge has the option of adding up to 30 years confinement, 30 years of probation and up to a $10,000 Fine...OR some combination of all. I have the feeling, hope it's wrong, that this judge will really tee off on Z-man if given the chance

the judge sounds biased.

they can't prove he did anything besides self-defense. it's possible it went beyond self-defense, but they lack the evidence to prove that.

reminds me a little of the Bernie Goetz case. he was hassled on the subway in NYC. carried a gun. dealt with it. big case 20 years ago. Goetz is Jewish.

but anybody who had that commute, and had to deal with regular bullshit on the subway - well, carrying a gun becomes logical.

maybe Schumer and Feinstein should be asked about Goetz. would the Jewish senators take away a Jewish citizens gun ?

If Zimmerman is given any time it will be a death sentence.

It's possible they find him guilty of manslaughter but he will win on appeal. This is all a horse and pony show.

Where did they find 6 women that have no opinion of yhis case?
