I see a different angle here: I wouldnt give a CRAP if the entire world thought i was balding, had a small penis and halitosis.
STOP putting value into what other people think. FUCK. ESPECIALLY about something as materialistic and egotistical as 'Beauty'. I feel sorry for her, not because of her looks but because she actually puts value on things that have no value whatsoever.
YOU decide if you have good self esteem or not, NOT the rest of the world.
Why didnt 'God' help her BEFORE she ever saw the video? Why didnt 'God' make her beautiful in her own eyes? It seems she is using 'God' as her defense mechanism because she doesnt want to face who she is, she is more concentrated on what she is.

I used to have an average penis so I grew it, I had to quit cause my wife said any bigger and she would leave. This however is not will power.
Perhaps call it cock handedly.

We all remember Joseph Merrick (http://acswa.us4.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=6c39662baf650b519d5891757&id=ab4f526af3&e=83c917f247)

I was reading about him the other day, one of those "procrastinating" times. Interesting read. I was wondering to myself, how many people like him are still out there. I know there are many people who never leave their homes for many reasons such as this. I know someone who never goes out, a few people know them and visit, I don't, never have but the impression I get is they suffer from some fairly severe disfigurement. Causes all sorts of problems that threaten their life almost daily.
If you look at Merricks face, you can see a clear normal portion of his face on his left side. You can kind of get what he would have looked like as a normal person. I think he would have been a dapper young man of the time if not for the disfigurement. There are other photos on the wiki.
Now that we don't have freak shows we don't see these people so much but they are still out there and I think there might be many of them.

Thanks for sharing General. Definitely inspirational, I'm not into the whole religious aspect of her speech and believe that we choose our own path and body in this life for personal, soul developmental reasons. Let's face it, we all have our demons to conquer (or at least try too) while we are here. Hers is just more public, most of and I'd garner to say all of us have them that are private and out of the public eye. Addictions, developmental, spiritual, paranoia, financial, societal, etc. etc. Whatever they may, those little hardships that keep cropping up. They are our demons to slay in this life. Learning how to control them or move on without letting them bother you is any test worthy of a soul developmental skill as you work your way up.
As the saying goes, we learn by doing. I have a deep seated and personal belief that also applies for soul development too.
Didn't mean to go off topic.

Ares I don't think you're being off topic at all. I think it's great. What I do see as sad is that I put 3 posters in this thread on ignore for being heartless assholes.

Thanks for sharing that General. Amazing speech, in fact that 10 minutes went by very quickly as I was captivated by her story. When she mentioned becoming a speaker, she sure did find her 'calling'. Not too many folks find their calling, as the media, wealth, status, etc get in the way.
This woman will go far in life. She has that gift of presentation, and a voice, that turns the crowd to attention.

She doesn't give herself enough credit. God didn't give that speech. She did.
You think about the kids who kill themselves because they get bullied at school and feel they aren't pretty or whatever then you look at this girl and she was able to rise above it all and reframe her situation into something positive. If she can only do that because of her faith in God, then so be it. Whatever works. I hope she goes on to write self esteem books and give speeches and becomes a sensation.
