I think the male speaker in that video nails it when he says that many of them don't realise they are making such a deal..... until later But then he says they have to do it of their own volition. I would bet it's not just entertainers who sell their souls to the devil. I would bet politicians do it. Probably everybody who wants to join the 1% does it.

If money is the root of all evil, it is behind all success. And where does all the money come from? Certainly appears to be (beyond what the economists tell us) a tool of the devil. A temptation. The cost is the loss of your humanity.

I don't think all success is as a result of selling your soul to the devil. If you measure success in units other than money, the devil can't buy you. Happiness--whatever that is, may be a better measure of success than material stuff. I just wonder how many of the people we consider 'successful' are happy?
