This is what I got.

1 - Kelly Kettle - Uses wood and twigs

2 - Trangia stove - Uses alcohol

3 - Pocket Rocket - Uses propane

I also build a cage for the Kelly Kettle to hold the wood and other combustibles

BTW - The propane on the Pocket Rocket is not the correct one.

I have a bunch of stoves too. You should get an electric one and a butane one, plus tons of butane canisters.

Somehow I'm not surprised you have a pocket rocket. I bet you have a lot of fun with that one, huh.

I don't think it is overkill. Good to have multiple options. I have an MSR multi-fuel stove that works well for backpacking but I feel I need a larger propane stove that can be used when taking the camper or as backup at home.

2 is 1 and 1 is none.

I have one of those MSR backpack stoves as well, and it's great for small storage. If you are looking for a small portable propane grill, I really like this one. The coleman fold and go grill. It's a nice small BBQ and grills up a good steak. I stow it in my RV which has limited space. I cook on it a lot, use a pan for cooking breakfast outdoors while camping, and the grill for meats, etc.

OK well I decided I really like the MSR pocket rocket BUT using larger pots etc sucks so I got myself some 13 gauge expanded sheet metal with 3/4 inch separation and made my own cover.

Here's the pocket rocket.

I plan on doing the same with my kelly kettle and trangia stove.

Ended up getting a Woods two burner camp stove that runs on the small propane cylinders. Also bought an adapter that lets me connect it to regular propane tanks for long term use. It is fairly wide, I can use a large frying pan and a medium pot on it at the same time. Seems to work good so far. Going to be using it one more time this year.

that is a good start, but may i humbly suggest you add a rocket stove? the kelly kettle is good, but a rocket is even better, especially for large scale cooking.
