I keep hearing more and more about home invasions and with two working dogs, a semi auto shotgun always at the read with a double barrel as back up. I have a hard time thinking someone breaking in my house would make it out alive even the fucking kwaps.

But it would be a fricken mess. Would my home owners insurance cover the cost of clean up minus the deductible?

If you suffer a home invasion getting your homeowner insurance to cover the damages is the least of your worries. lol

As for making an inquiry as to whether your current HO insurance covers such a thing, I suggest you call another agent of the company which provides coverage (one who doesn't know who you are) for you posing as a potential client who's 'just wondering'.
