The recent Catherine Austin Fitts interview is introduced and discussed in another thread. (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?71475-Catherine-Austin-Fitts-The-Big-Question-is-How-Violent-will-Things-Get)

But I wanted to isolate the part of it where she provides her perspective of the coming collapse and how to prepare for it, which she presents from 33:15-43:05.

She has such a tremendous macro-understanding of all the forces at play, and a very practical view of how it will play out. She sees a slow burn, with most of the risk of catastrophic collapse happening in the BRIIC countries. She thinks North America has enough military might and resources to engineer (through international warfare) a controlled system breakdown and transition, rather than a collapse, though she warns that regional mini-collapses and disasters could happen along the way, for which you should be prepared. She sees precious metals as extremely important as insurance, with the possibility that it could also be an investment to increase your wealth.

So the focus of this thread is the portion of the interview from 33:15-43:05.

Got a minimum of $250,000 to lose?

A Sea Lane investor opens an individual account at Charles Schwab & Co. Inc., the brokerage/custodian firm chosen by Sea Lane. It is your account. You have online access and can view your account and holdings at any time.

You authorize Sea Lane to assume discretionary management of your account.

We manage your account using model portfolio software, which allows us to buy and hold the same securities in individual accounts as in our model portfolio. Consequently, all our investors own nearly identical portfolios. Small differences in percentage holdings may occur as a result of the timing of when you start with Sea Lane.

This model portfolio allocation methodology allows us to streamline our investment strategy and respond quickly to market opportunities and risks on behalf of all clients simultaneously.

They never learn......."If you don't ......you know the rest"........I now trust myself where in the past I did not. You only trust other is you want more....that's called "greed" and not "need".
