It might be Virginia as Blacksburg is in VA but there are probably others. VA is an open carry state.

I realize as a STATIST it is hard to grasp the fact that human beings have a Right to protect themselves. This means you may actually encounter one of them with an armament on their side. Please try to not hyperventilate and call 'mommy and daddy' when you see this.

Whether or not it is 'Legal' to open carry there or not IS IRRELEVANT. If an average 'Joe' accosted you on the side of the road with questions and demands you would feel no obligation to answer him or obey him. So what is the difference if the average 'Joe' has on a costume?

The original and main Guardian Angels activity is "Safety Patrol" in which members walk the streets or ride transit. Guardian Angels must be in uniform to represent the organization. They can be identified by their red berets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beret) and red jackets or white t-shirts with the red Guardian Angels logo of an eye inside a shield with wings.

'Guardian Angels' equate themselves to the angels of Heaven while sporting the Illuminaughty's Luciferian 'all seeing eye'. lol

Just more self-important jackasses in a costume (like we somehow need more of those).

I'm VERY impressed by the one with the captain's bars on his 'do rag. lol

Apparently, wearing a costume makes some people think they can violate other people's rights by virtue of wearing a costume. Authoritarians love costumes. Authoritarians, in my view, are mentally ill.

Who's rights were violated? I must have missed something, because in that video, it just showed a cop politely talking to another person. People can talk to each without violating any rights. We need more cops like that one, imo. Blame the snitch who called the police in the first place. That cop didn't have a choice, he had to at least approach the guy since he was called there.

You are a delusional STATIST.

The Cop restrained this mans Liberty FOR NO REASON. The founding fathers KILLED people for this crap.

If the man would have kept walking and not stopped he would have been tasered or KILLED for not doing so. And you try and blame the caller INSTEAD OF BLAMING THE COP WHO ACCOSTED AN INNOCENT MAN. Because you have been trained to think that a 'Cop' is exempt from all human morality. THEY ARE NOT. You think they are not PERSONALLY RESPNSIBLE for their own actions. THEY ARE. Their superiors and judges agree, which allows these CRIMINALS to continue to fucking RUIN this country.

There was no 'Law' against it, by what rationality is the Cop 'allowed' to stop someone? I thought Cops just do their job which is to 'enforce' 'Law'? But if he can enforce 'other' things as well, what is stopping him from doing ANYTHING he wants to? (Dont even try to answer this because you are incapable of using logic)

There is a thing called PRINCIPLE. And some of us men choose to put it above ALL OTHER.

You have many years of indocturnation to overcome before you can become human again.

The littlest of the little people exercising their pretend power over others. Certainly they suffer from mental defects.

This is the crux of this discussion. Was this man restrained? This is the key difference between a consensual contact, and a lawful detention. 4th Amendment at it's most important basic level. You are right, our founding fathers killed (and died) to protect this right.

For a consensual contact, well anyone can talk to anyone. You can approach a cop and ask questions too.

A detention a person is not free to go, until the cop conducts his investigation. There is reasonable doubt a crime is being committed. Open carry is not a crime and I do not honestly know if this gives LE the authority to detain someone. The gray area of the law and "reasonable" must be interpreted.

The cop approaches the man in what appears to be a normal consensual contact, yet says "you are free to go." at the end, suggesting the man was detained the whole time.

First thing out of one's mouth: "Am I under arrest?"

cop: "No."

freeman: "Then am I free to go?"

Close midnight. Instead ask this "Am I being detained?"

That's all you need to know. If he says "no", you don't need to ask if you are free to go. You ARE free to go.
