Finally fired up the Kelly Kettle, the store bought pine is loaded with chemicals

So I'm testing out all the stoves I purchased from a previous thread. Gotta use 80%+ stuff with the Trangia stove to make them do what they're suppose to do, and I didn't know the Kelly Kettle is so damn efficient with wood so I basically used the left over pine logs I purchased at the local Vons, who's owned by Safeway. I just chopped them into chips and hells bells this store bought stuff reeked of chemicals, it was really really bad. The Kelly Kettle works almost like a blast furnace to it's very efficient. But it smelled like I was burning an environment disaster.

a kelly is like the one thin i don't have. need to get one. glad to hear it works well.
