Don't know where the blobs are, and even if they did know where the blobs are they don't know how to retrieve them. Nice.

Many of us imagined this would end inconceivably badly, but this is now beyond inconceivable.

I've been following the story from the beginning...it's very bad and will probably be the cause of the zombie apocalypse.
I don't bother posting all the articles, because there is nothing anyone can do and they/you all know it.
Enjoy every day!

Of course some chunks was bound to go missing, seeing those huge holes 2 years ago, exposing the reactor core and total destruction of the storage pool, while tepco and Japanese government were singing everything is alright, contained, yada yada-lullaby... I am not surprised that 300 tons is missing, probably it is more. But I am old enough to remember the Chernobyl nuclear melt down, and even though the Soviet government were not particularly forthcoming with information, the level of lying is at least a magnitude worse at Fukushima, and I think the effects are as well. In Chernobyl they managed to contain the meltdown fairly quickly, by dropping boron, sand and cement, and using a million commandeered workers, who got a 'fair' share of the radiation exposure. The responsible leadership in Japan should hang!
