I saw this on Keisers blog. < 1 min. No max.

We have this problem down here as well, but we call our problem "New Math" but basically the premise is the same. It is not about the result it is about the "narrative". The facts being that 3 x 4 = 12 is not so important is being able to tell a story about how you arrived at your incorrect answer.

Now in this video the woman says that they correct the child if they come up with the wrong answer but the most important part is the story or the journey through the math process. In australia the difference is that they, the class can come together and negotiate the solution. So by a consensus they all arrive at the preferred answer. As I hint at, it doesn't have to be the factual answer, just an answer that everyone can live with,

While the stupefying plunge in SAT scores and IQ continues

They modified the reporting like the inflation and unemployment factors.

Looking through my kids curricular for this year and the info he knows he has to put on his dumb cap to pass. I bitched about him smoking stuff and he said 'if I pass on honor rolll will you please stop bitching about smoking'. Hmmm I told him its on. He never learned basic math, history or any of the other BS stuff. What they teach is like zero what I learned. It's there but different and wrong.

If my grandfather saw this world I have no idea what he would say but it would have been much wiser than I could ever come up with.

I spent some time with a child about to start the adventure of education. Family gathering, parents, the grands and so on. Kid was going through a book, non school, which was how many of X are there in the Pic, Draw a line to link same or similar things. Identify these objects.

Kid asks, what do I put in this one (answer box) mommy. I said, you put whatever the teacher wants you to put in there. Now that was the start of an interesting conversation.

So I am messing with the kid. Are you sure those are not such and such things? How do you know it's 10. It's something like the video I guess but I am trying to get them confident that they have got the right answer even when someone (me) is casting doubt on them. Thats the hardest challenge in life IMO. Being able to stand in confidence when someone casts doubt on you or what you did/do. I don't want them to have to turn to some group for a decision or assessment of how they feel about something. You gots to know in your guts.

I think this one will be ok. I'm pretty confident he can see as well although it may be his friend.

I did have that problem, after my dad was my teacher, in high school I was able to give answers to algebra problems withuot solving the problem......my teacher got really mad at me and at the end he asked me "Was your dad your algebra teacher?"...me "Yes".....him "Did he go to Georgia Tech"....me "Yes"...him "OH, that's why"........how did he know? I don't know......maybe they had a "mistery" way to teach math that my dad use on me................but as you can see he never tought me English ahahahahahahahhah.

By the way, the teacher in the video was right......once you know the cause you will know the reason, and able to corrected it.

This reminded me of an event I engaged in more than 10 years ago. I was in a sales meeting and a teacher was talking about optical principles and I was fairly certain he had it wrong. I questioned him during the class and explained how it really was. The whole group- about 10 people- told me I was wrong and basically to shut up. I stood firm and said I don't think so. They got more annoyed and said the instructor was right. So I backed off and said, fine, I must have been wrong.

The next day, the instructor comes out and says he was wrong and that I was right. Now all the morons in the group look at me and say why didn't you hold your position? Why?? Well, it was quite simple. If I was right, I lose. If I was wrong I lose less. If I backed down, they could continue on and forget about this one point. Group think is a dangerous thing. Fukushima comes to mind.

That's the problem right there. You don't find that kind of crap going on in a engineering meeting. The laws of physics don't give a damn what the group thnks. When I was in school they told me become an engineer and you will earn lots of money. What I should have done is learn to lie with a straight face and become a salesman, that's where the money is.

Where is that job? Most companies have tight controls on activity. Everything can be traced. Some sales jobs are worse than snake pits. Most have excessive pressure to sell a crappy product. A good company with a good product is a pleasure. There is only one best.

This really is war on reason. It has been going on for a long while, which is a major reason why they managed to get away with 9/11. People who have an understanding of math don't believe that buildings collapse at free fall acceleration into their own footprint, from office fires, since most don't, they trust authorities, telling them what to think... Reason never enters the equation, and that is from making mathematics a relative truth open to discussion.

Yes- and it is a complete disregard for natural laws. This is the sign of the devil. It is easy to pick out his work.

2Th 2:3 Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because that Day will not come unless first comes the falling away, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 the one opposing and exalting himself over everything being called God, or object of worship, so as for him "to sit in the temple of God" as God, setting forth himself, that he is God. Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFwcapgEWIwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFwcapgEWIwVedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharati Krsna Tirthaji (1884-1960). According to his research all of mathematics is based on sixteen Sutras (http://www.vedicmaths.org/Free%20Resources/Sutras/Sutras.asp), or word-formulae. For example, 'Vertically and Crosswise` is one of these Sutras. These formulae describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in directing the student to the appropriate method of solution.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the Vedic system is its coherence. Instead of a hotch-potch of unrelated techniques the whole system is beautifully interrelated and unified: the general multiplication method, for example, is easily reversed to allow one-line divisions and the simple squaring method can be reversed to give one-line square roots. And these are all easily understood. This unifying quality is very satisfying, it makes mathematics easy and enjoyable and encourages innovation.
In the Vedic system 'difficult' problems or huge sums can often be solved immediately by the Vedic method. These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a complete system of mathematics which is far more systematic than the modern 'system'. Vedic Mathematics manifests the coherent and unified structure of mathematics and the methods are complementary, direct and easy.
The simplicity of Vedic Mathematics means that calculations can be carried out mentally (though the methods can also be written down). There are many advantages in using a flexible, mental system. Pupils can invent their own methods, they are not limited to the one 'correct' method. This leads to more creative, interested and intelligent pupils.
Interest in the Vedic system is growing in education where mathematics teachers are looking for something better and finding the Vedic system is the answer. Research is being carried out in many areas including the effects of learning Vedic Maths on children; developing new, powerful but easy applications of the Vedic Sutras in geometry, calculus, computing etc.
But the real beauty and effectiveness of Vedic Mathematics cannot be fully appreciated without actually practising the system. One can then see that it is perhaps the most refined and efficient mathematical system possible.

There's more to the new math behind the scenes. They are deliberately taking away the parent as a teacher by introducing a new method the parent is not familiar with. When the child brings home the homework and the parent has no clue how to compute using the new method because they were taught using the logarithmic method, the parent becomes frustrated. There is a bond that is lost.

So in addition to NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND society ought to be giving prospective parents math tests?

There are many systems of math. Some work better than others for certain tasks. Have a go at bi quinary

Society seems to have adopted the use of arabic symbols for numbers. What happened in the year 1776 is not necessarily what happened in 'the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy six'. Which would you use? Or maybe you prefer MDCCLXXVI?

Does using MDCCLXXVI make you Roman? Does using 1776 make you Arabic? Does using 'the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy six' a Christian?

I'm not sure what you inferred from my post but I was trying to point out that children often think that modern methods are superior to older ones and if the parent doesn't understand how the child is being taught, in the child's eyes this makes the parent look stupid and the teachers look brilliant. I wasn't suggesting that parents should learn math, only that changing teaching methods could be used as a divide and conquer strategy within the family.

We had this kind of "math" back when I was in school in California. I would always figure stuff out in my head and not need to "show my work". I found that whenever I worked problems out step by step my chances of making a mistake increased dramatically, especially with the confusing and idiotically constructed methods they gave us to achieve this. Basically it rewarded the idiots who didn't understand math, but as long as they could follow the instructions of how to carry out the problem they would "solve it," even if they had the wrong answer. I remember for instance I got all the correct answers on a test, but failed since I didn't show my work. The person next to me got a lot of wrong answers but since she showed her work she passed. For those of us who did things our own way, figuring out our own shortcuts, and methods we were punished.

The whole education system is really about conformity, essentially. Kill any potential free thinker. Prevent the entrepreneur from blossoming.

I heard a child health story this morning that just breaks your heart. The parents think they are doing the right thing but are killing their kids..... letting their kids be killed. anyway another thread. What I should have done is learn to lie with a straight face and become a salesman, that's where the money is.

Right there with you horseshoe.

You can't think of it as lying, its called "telling people what they want to hear."

You are then accepted and moved to a higher peg on the pyramid.

Video (http://www.theblaze.com/news/video/)

A parent in Towson, Md., was arrested Thursday night (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/education/blog/bs-md-co-common-core-arrest-20130920,0,7127220.story) at a public forum after vocally expressing his concerns about the Baltimore County School District’s plan to use Common Core standards in its curriculum.
Robert Small, a concerned father, was forcefully removed from the meeting by a police officer after he interrupted Baltimore County Schools Superintendent Dallas Dance during the question-and-answer portion of the forum.
The meeting apparently didn’t allow parents to stand up and ask questions or comment. Parents and other attendants were instead asked to write their questions on a piece of paper and officials would read them.
However, Small began speaking out against the district’s use of Common Core, prompting a security guard, who was also a police officer, to approach him and order him to leave. “Let’s go!” he said sternly.
http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/FirefoxScreenSnapz067-620x336.jpg (http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/FirefoxScreenSnapz067.jpg)(YouTube)

When Small didn’t immediately comply, the officer began pulling his arm and pushing him towards the exit. Some audience members gasped at the cop’s use of force.
“Don’t stand for this,” the father said as he was dragged out. “You are sitting here like cattle! Is this America?”
Small also urged other parents to demand answers on Common Core and the curriculum being used to educate their children.
As the Baltimore Sun reports (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/education/blog/bs-md-co-common-core-arrest-20130920,0,7127220.story), the officer then “pushed Small and then escorted him into the hall, handcuffed him and had him sit on the curb in front of the school.”
Small was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer and faces a $2,500 fine and up to 10 years in prison. He was also charged with disturbing a school operation, which carries an additional $2,500 and up to six months in jail.
Small attempted to push the officer away when he first approached him, the police report claims. Watch the video and decide for yourself if Small assaulted the officer:
Despite some opposition from parents, the Maryland State Department of Education reportedly plans to go forward with its implementation of Common Core standards, joining 45 other states and Washington, D.C., in adopting the standards for the first time this year.
“Look, I am being manhandled and shut down because I asked inconvenient questions,” Small told the Baltimore Sun (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/education/blog/bs-md-co-common-core-arrest-20130920,0,7127220.story) after the incident. “Why won’t they allow an open forum where there can be a debate? We are told to sit there and be lectured to about how great common core is.”

He must've looked into one of his children's textbooks.

Talk about a thin script,

I looked into my nephew's 10th grade history book and looked like it was an abridged version of MSM's nightly news.

One 'n one is eleven!
Two 'n two is twenty-two!
Won't somebody kindly tell me,
What the government's tryin' t' do...
Dickie's just too tricky
For a chump like me to use
Well, you'd take that sub-committee serious, boy
You might get a seizure from the evenin' news

Well, yeah, yeah,
Millions 'n millions of dollars...
Much as he might need...
He could open up a chain of motels, people,
On the highway, yes indeed!

Quadrophonic desperation!
You know, there'd be a cable all under your bed
Well, if you just might break some wind in your slumber
The FBI is gonna get your number

GONNA GET YA
GONNA GET YA
GONNA JUMP UP THE SUB-COMMITTEE AND GET YA!

GONNA GET YOUR NUMBER
THE FBI
GONNA GET YOUR NUMBER
THE FBI
GONNA GET YOUR NUMBER
THE FBI
GONNA GET YOUR NUMBER
THE FBI
DONE GOT YOUR NUMBER
THE FBI
DONE GOT YOUR NUMBER

Tryin' not to worry
Tryin' not to care
But you know, I get delighted
When some microphone's not there

Can't have no private conversations
Nowhere
In the USA
Can't wait 'til the rest of the people all over the world
Find out that their government
Is just the same ol' way
Yeah, every day...

Let me tell you one thing right now
Let me tell you one thing right here
Let me make this perfectly clear
Let me tell you 'bout this right here
You know you put me in office
So you must have wanted me in office
I've did you no harm
You know I'm not a crook
You know I'm innocent
I had twenty-five tapes
I only have ten
I don't know what happened to the rest
Musta gave 'em to a friend
Bebe
Somebody
Ronald
Somebody
Who
Was it?
Who?
We know you're not a crook
We know you're not a crook
All we wanna say is one more thing now:

The gangster stepped right up,
Kissed him on the lip good-bye
Made him a cocksucker by proxy, yes he did,
An' he didn't even bat an eye!

The man in the White House – oh!
He's got a conscience – oh!
He's got a conscience as black as sin!
There's just one thing I wanna know –
How'd that asshole ever manage to get in?

Data Mining and Biometrics in Common Core Program (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/data-mining-and-biometrics-in-common-core-program/)

Posted on August 6, 2013 (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/data-mining-and-biometrics-in-common-core-program/) by lynne0312 (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/author/lynne0312/)
http://sandyhooktruth.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/no-common-core.jpg?w=640 (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/data-mining-and-biometrics-in-common-core-program/no-common-core/)Last week I wrote an article about the new Common Core Standards in the US public school system. Since then, I’ve researched it some more and have come to the conclusion that this very likely will further degrade the quality of education in this country, but what I found to be alarming about new standards is the fact that they mandate that a tracking system be used by all states. The standards are to include data mining and it will be extremely comprehensive, will be accessible by the federal government, the companies managing and retrieving the data, marketing companies and more.

What type of information will be contained in the database?

What data will be collected? According to the new FERPA regulations, pretty much anything. Social security numbers, psychometric and biometric information are not off the table. The National Data Collection model includes over 400 points (http://nces.ed.gov/forum/datamodel/eiebrowser/techview.aspx?instance=studentPostsecondary).

“Biometric record,” as used in the definition for “personally identifiable information,” means a record of one or more measurable biological or behavioral characteristics that can be used for automated recognition of an individual. Examples include fingerprints; retina and iris patterns; voiceprints; DNA sequence; facial characteristics; and handwriting. (pg. 4 (http://www2.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/pdf/ferparegs.pdf))

The NEDM data will include -

Father’s education level
Mother’s education level
Family income range
Family Obligations
Social Security Number
Religious Affiliation
Bus stop arrival time and description
dwelling arrangement

… and much more

Here’s a general template for what is planned -

http://sandyhooktruth.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/tracking.jpg?w=640

North Carolina uses CEDARS (Common Education Data Analysis and Reporting System). This is some (not all) of the categories of data collection that will be used.

The Data Quality Campaign monitors each state’s progress on the data mining objectives. NC has met 8 of the 10 objectives.

Why are states agreeing to this?

It’s all about the money. States apply to the federal government via the Department of Education for a grant, called the SLDS (http://www.dpi.state.nc.us/docs/fbs/arra/slds/sldsproposal.pdf) grant – Statewide Longitudinal Data System Recovery Act Grants. The State of NC applied for the grant in 2009 and received an estimated $100 billion in education funding. There are strings attached though.

The federal government lures states with money to get on board with the Common Core Standards. It doesn’t matter that the standards are going to make the education system even worse…..who could pass up $100 billion? However, in doing so, they must agree to this invasive tracking program. It is a requirement. All the money in the world isn’t enough to justify such an assault on our privacy.

Who initiated these programs?

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Carnegie Foundation and Rupert Murdoch have funded one of the first companies involved in data collection – inBloom (https://www.inbloom.org/).

The history of inBloom, Inc., illustrates how foundations and other private interests use government power to support private profit-making activities related to public schools. inBloom is collecting a massive education database including sensitive and personally identifiable information, to be stored in “the Cloud.” The project has the financial support of the Gates and the Carnegie Foundations and of Rupert Murdoch, whose Wireless Generation company stands to benefit.

In 1974 the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) became federal law. FERPA limited the authority of school officials to release personally identifiable information about any student, without student or parental consent.

On April 8, 2011 the US Department of Education initiated a proposal to amend the regulations interpreting FERPA. The proposed regulatory change was put out for Notice and Comment as required by the Administrative Practices Act. The Department of Education issued the final amended regulations on December 2, 2011 and they took effect on January 3, 2012.

The amended regulations provided a new definition for three key statutory terms. Under the new definitions, detailed information about students, along with individual student ID numbers or other unique personal identifiers, may be disclosed “non-consensually,” by “an educational agency or institution” with very little constraint. The changes essentially gutted FERPA and removed just about every vestige of parental control over the use and release of personally identifiable information in school records. Shortly after December 2011 when the amended FERPA regulations were issued, the Shared Learning Collaborative (SLC) was activated. The SLC’s five member board of trustees included two corporation officers who were affiliated with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, one with the Carnegie Foundation, one with the Council of Chief State School Officers, and one was a former state governor affiliated with an educational advocacy organization . SLC was disbanded in November 2012 when the nonprofit organization, inBloom, was created. inBloom, which is supported by $100 million in grants from the Gates and Carnegie foundations, inherited all of the SLC’s software development.

The massive databases that inBloom intends to create are supposed to make it more efficient for school districts to store, access and process data for educational purposes. In theory, it would become possible to tailor instruction from stored data to meet individual student needs. Databases within a district are not always able to “talk” with each other; using a common platform and infrastructure in the Cloud would remedy that problem. If all the various school databases in the nation are also in communicable format in Clouds, it would be possible to examine and collate information on a national scale.

http://sandyhooktruth.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/wrist.png?w=259&h=300 (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/data-mining-and-biometrics-in-common-core-program/wrist/)

What type of biometrics will be used in schools?

A company called Afectiva (http://www.qsensortech.com/customers/) has developed a bracelet that can measure a person’s attentiveness. The Bill Gates Foundation also funds this research.

DENVER (Reuters) – The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which has poured more than $4 billion into efforts to transform public education in the U.S., is pushing to develop an “engagement pedometer.” Biometric devices wrapped around the wrists of students would identify which classroom moments excite and interest them — and which fall flat.

The foundation has given $1.4 million in grants to several university researchers to begin testing the devices in middle-school classrooms this fall. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/images/pixel.gifhttp://articles.chicagotribune.com/images/pixel.gif The biometric bracelets, produced by a Massachusetts startup company, Affectiva Inc, send a small current across the skin and then measure subtle changes in electrical charges as the sympathetic nervous system responds to stimuli. The wireless devices have been used in pilot tests to gauge consumers’ emotional response to advertising.

Gates officials hope the devices, known as Q Sensors, can become a common classroom tool, enabling teachers to see, in real time, which kids are tuned in and which are zoned out. Existing measures of student engagement, such as videotaping classes for expert review or simply asking kids what they liked in a lesson, “only get us so far,” said Debbie Robinson, a spokeswoman for the Gates Foundation. To truly improve teaching and learning, she said, “we need universal, valid, reliable and practical instruments” such as the biosensors. Read more (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2012-06-12/news/sns-rt-us-usa-education-gatesbre85c018-20120612_1_gates-foundation-veteran-english-teacher-teachers-feedback).

Affectiva also markets emotion readers via facial expressions -

http://sandyhooktruth.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/affectiva.png?w=640&h=308 (http://sandyhooktruth.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/data-mining-and-biometrics-in-common-core-program/affectiva/)

Affectiva began their research by measuring emotions in autistic people. I can’t help but wonder if the Adam Lanza autism story was woven into the Sandy Hook event to suggest that if only he had been monitored, maybe they could have predicted his future behaviors.

As you can see, common core is not simply about national education standards. It’s much more. It’s being used to create the first ever national tracking system of all people from birth throughout life. It goes further by attempting to incorporate all of these creepy, invasive physiological monitoring devices. They suggest they’re to be used as tools but since when can we trust them with anything? They crossed the line with TSA screenings and they’re doing it again – this time in our schools.

How could this potentially play out? Will they determine that certain students aren’t responsive enough in class? Will they suggest medications for them to help improve this? Will they use these monitoring devices to determine when a student is lying? Where will it end?

The U.S. Department of Education is investigating how public schools can collect information on “non-cognitive” student attributes, after granting itself the power to share student data across agencies without parents’ knowledge.

The feds want to use schools to catalogue “attributes, dispositions, social skills, attitudes and intrapersonal resources – independent of intellectual ability,” according to a February DOE report, all under the guise of education.

The report suggests researching how to measure and monitor these student attributes using “data mining” techniques and even functional magnetic resonance imaging, although it concedes “devices that measure EEG and skin conductance may not be practical for use in the classroom.” It delightedly discusses experiments on how kids respond to computer tutors, using cameras to judge facial expressions, an electronic seat that judges posture, a pressure-sensitive computer mouse and a biometric wrap on kids’ wrists. Read more (http://www.ocregister.com/articles/data-499062-schools-information.html).

To be honest, I haven’t been following any of this because my kids are homeschooled but I’m very concerned about this. There hasn’t been much in the news about the tracking programs. I was aware that Common Core was controversial but I had no idea what the full extent of it was.

There is some hope. There’s a group called EPIC (http://epic.org/2013/07/epic-to-defend-student-privacy.html) (Electronic Privacy Information Group) who filed a lawsuit against the DoE. I’ll continue to follow this Common Core mess and will update this post when new information becomes available.

PIC to Defend Student Privacy Rights in Federal Court

On July 24, EPIC President Marc Rotenberg and EPIC Administrative Law Counsel Khaliah Barnes will present arguments in federal district court in Washington, DC (http://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/dcd/) in support of student privacy. In EPIC v. Dept. of Education, No. 12-327 (http://epic.org/apa/ferpa/), EPIC is challenging recent changes to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) that allow the release of student records for non-academic purposes and undercut parental consent provisions. In 2011, EPIC submitted extensive comments (http://epic.org/privacy/student/EPIC_FERPA_Comments.pdf) to the agency opposing the changes. After the Education Department failed to modify the proposed regulation, EPIC filed a lawsuit and argued that the agency exceeded its authority with the changes, and also that the revised regulations are not in accordance with the 1974 privacy law. EPIC is joined in the lawsuit by members of the EPIC Board of Directors Grayson Barber, Pablo Garcia Molina, Peter Neumann, and Deborah Peel. For more information, see EPIC: EPIC v. The U.S. Department of Education (http://epic.org/apa/ferpa/) and EPIC: Student Privacy (http://epic.org/privacy/student/).

Another Spingola show looking at CORE. Early on, DS mentions that Phyllis Schlafly recently published a piece saying "they" were going to stop teaching cursive handwriting, in favor of the kids being proficient with keyboard! I looked for this at Schlafly's forum, http://eagleforum.org - but all I see is some DVDs she has for sale re CORE.

Poor kids failing to be properly engaged by the holohoax, they'll get 'special' education!

In the education system its split up into the top class...the middle class...and the lower class.

The teachers are babysitters basically.

The top students...The teachers hold them back more than move them forward.

the middle students mostly pass.

the bottom students...they do not pass.

the top students go on to University to be brainwashed into thinking that smart people are the source of power.

The educated people are net consumers of power...from the uneducated people which are the net producers of power.

There is the rich or master race.

and

the poor or slave race.

The rich race

EDUCATION - Common Core Curriculum: Satanic Gutting of Education (http://www.stopthecrime.net/core02.html)

To clearly understand Common Core you must first read the "Silent Weapons Quiet Wars" a technical manual of global manipulation and enslavement by lack of knowledge . . .www.StopTheCrime.net (http://www.StopTheCrime.net)

Now they're selling us the "Common Core Curriculum."
Sounds good, right? It's not. It is the brainchild of the Power Elite.
Here's why it SHOULD be called, Satanic Core Curriculum --
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wHApaIWTd3o#t=363

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wHApaIWTd3o#t=363

What's behind the Common Core Curriculum

From Germany to Communist China to the Soviet Union to the United States today, the elites have a goal:

Conformity uber alles.

Until recently, that's been hard to enforce. People can do "inconvenient" things like read and research and think for themselves.

Big Business and Big Government and their handmaidens in Big Education have a plan to remedy that.

The National Governors Association, the Gates Foundation, Intel, Microsoft, the World Bank, and the “learning company” Pearson are working hard together to bring a nightmare curriculum to fruition.

Their vision is one where techno-socialization, not knowledge gained from independent sources or critical thinking ability, is the top priority for education.

Documentarian Aaron Franz interviews education researcher Robin Eubanks about the Rotten Core Curriculum, and this video covers some of their main points in an excerpted form.

Obama biography, required reading, tells fourth-graders that white Americans are racists (http://dailycaller.com/2013/11/22/obama-biography-required-reading-tells-fourth-graders-that-white-americans-are-racists/)

Eric Owens

Some parents in Dupo, Ill. are not happy that a biography of President Barack Obama is required reading for fourth-graders. They say the book contains a host of controversial elements, not least of which is that it casts white Americans who disagree with Obama’s politics as racist.

Fourth-grade students at Bluffview Elementary School were instructed that they would be tested and graded on the book’s contents, reports EAGnews.org (http://eagnews.org/st-clair-county-4th-grade-book-says-white-voters-rejected-obama-because-of-race/).

The book, called simply “Barack Obama,” is published by Lerner Publications. The author, Jane Sutcliffe, appears to specialize in these kinds of biographies. She has written similar titles about Jesse Owens, Ronald Reagan, Sacagawea and Milton Hershey.

The kerfuffle about the book originally bubbled up through a Facebook page called Moms Against Duncan (https://www.facebook.com/groups/MomsAgainstDuncan/?fref=ts) (MAD). The group actively opposes implementation of the Common Core curriculum.

EAGNews notes that the Obama book is part of Scholastic’s “Reading Counts” program and an acceptable title under the Common Core State Standards Initiative, which attempts to standardize various K-12 curricula around the country.

You can view a sample of the bio (http://books.google.com/books?id=-PE9yILRMIIC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_ge_summary_r&cad=0#v=onepage&q&f=false) on Google Books.

The book continually identifies Obama on a first-name basis. It bizarrely blames the evils of television for learning ways “to be black” that are hilariously caricatured, stereotypical and negative.

When Barry looked in the mirror, he saw a young black man. But he didn’t know how to be black. And no one was there to teach him.

He decided to act like the black characters he saw on TV. He started acting tough. He cursed. Was that what it meant to be black?

As he got older, he started smoking and drinking. He tried drugs. Was that what it meant to be black?

It’s not clear if Sutcliffe purposefully conflates being a black American with “acting tough,” cussing, “smoking and drinking” and doing drugs.

Sutcliffe is white (http://www.amazon.com/Jane-Sutcliffe/e/B001JRX460/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_pop_1), according to her Amazon.com author page.

The Obama biography goes on to charge that white Americans did not want to vote for Obama because of his skin color. However, it neatly explains, America’s 44th president was able to bring everybody together in blissful unity.

But some people said Americans weren’t ready for that much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow, they said. But white voters would never vote for a black president. Other angry voices were raised. Barack’s former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said.

The book then recounts Obama’s March 2008 speech about race.

“Barack decided it was time to speak to Americans about race,” the next paragraph pedantically explains. “Black people and white people were too often angry with one another. All people were going to have to work together to solve the country’s problems. Only in that way could Americans make a more perfect United States.”

It’s not clear if the book’s author believes the United States is now “more perfect” some six years into the Obama presidency.

The Sherman Institute (http://shermaninstitute.info/) is a new online educational outfit that uses classical sources and a no-nonsense approach to restore a proper educational mission. Moreover, Bolinger, a former Liberty Lobby lobbyist, discusses the potential perils of a new Constitutional Convention soon taking place in Virginia. looking at some of those examples you posted Pat (hehe) and it's worse than I believed. Truly incomprehensible gibberish.

You have to stand back and say two things are occurring here.
1) People are out to steal:
Your childs time and hence a big chunk of their life +
Their intellect
Their potential
Their morals
Their judgement
Their hope
Their dreams
Their ability, to live and do anything else that requires slight competency.

2) The people who create this material are the product of the same system and as a result they are literally and simply retarded and there is nothing they can do about it because this is all they know. They think this stuff is good.

Something I have learned is that to assume the other person is close to your intelligence level can be very dangerous. As always sensible people recognise this and prepare to take up the slack from government involvement.

We mostly think it's number 1 and probably is but number 2 is a tool to achieve number 1. useful idiots

The greater global picture of Common Core...

Common Core Standards are not only in schools, but are now standard in the military, FBI, CIA, and most other government agencies.

This Power Point lecture was given in November, 2013 at the Utah County Fairgrounds by Clint Richardson. Special thanks to Linda Oberhansley for organizing the event.

Jim Stone:

What happened to America's education?

A now declassified elite document written in 1969 says it all

Jim Stone, Dec 20 2013
Permalink (http://jimstonefreelance.com/bstep.html)

Bstep (behavioral science teacher's education program) education outlay for teachers, which was written in 1969 is agenda 21 all the way.

From page 255 of this document: The protestant ethic will atrophy as more and more enjoy varied leisure and guranteed sustenance. Work as the means and end of living will diminish in importance except for a few with exceptional drive, motivation, or aspiration. No major source of a sense of worth and dignity will replace the protestant ethic. Most people will tend to be hedonist, and a dominant elite will provide "bread and circuces" too keep dissention and social disruption at a minimum.

A small elite will carry society's burdens. The resulting impersonal manipulation of most people's lifestyles will be softened by provisions for pleasure seeking and guranteed physical necessities. Participatory democracy in the American ideal mold will mainly disappear. The worth and dignity of individuals will be endangered on every hand. Only exceptional individuals will be able to maintain a sense of worth and dignity."

Below this header, there is the outlay for impact on schools in 4 columns. They are all flaky, but column 3 reads:

"reduction to technicial level for the bulk of school personell who merely manipulate largely teacher proof programs; creation of a small group of elite practitioners who help to plan and direct in close collaberation with the total establishment"

I'd like to break that down, or translate it so to speak - By reducing school personnel to a technical level, they are stating that teachers are to be technicians, and not masters of their work. When they say these teachers will "manipulate largely teacher proof programs" they mean that they don't want the teachers getting in the way of the indoctrination they intend to inflict, they want these programs to be "teacher proof" so that a unified, self erasing curriculum with predictable outcomes is administered without any deviation from the plan laid out by "a small group of elite" who help to plan and direct in close collaberation with the total establishment".

Keep in mind that Bstep became the standard all American schools accepted. Now, 50 years later, the proof is on the table, our schools are in fact indoctrination centers that follow page 255 TO THE LETTER. Interesting stuff don't you think? The original document is HERE (http://es.scribd.com/doc/24470503/Behavioral-Teacher-Education-Project) and keep in mind, the good stuff is buried deep. This document is over 300 pages long. For what I can see, the really damning stuff starts at around page 247. I can't write it all and don't have time to read it all, but one thing is certain this document is totally loaded with Agenda 21 destroy America script that is fluffed over to make it look benign. It was DEFINITELY the beginning of the end for America.

Cold hard proof Common Core is educational SABOTAGE

Jim Stone, Dec 19 2013
Permalink (http://jimstonefreelance.com/commiecore.html)

It is the job of educators to teach children the simplest way possible to solve problems and learn. Successful educational programs make it possible for children to master skills such as math easily, by showing them the simplest way to solve a problem. The best way to sabotage the learning process is to clutter it up with irrelevant steps that are not needed. And when it comes to math, common core does exactly that. A 2 step math problem in 108 irrelevant steps

The question - There are 18 people. These 18 people counted up to the last person with a number that landed on 90. What is the number they counted up by, for 18 people to reach a number of 90 while counting by it? Obviously, to get this answer you should divide 90 by 18, which gives you the number 5. 90 divided by 18 equals 5. Therefore, the people said 5,10,15,20, all the way up to 90. But if your student gives this obvious simple solution to this problem, they are marked wrong even though they solved the problem the most skilled and rational way.

Here is how, with common core, the children are required to solve this problem in not TWO steps (90/18), but in 108 steps.

http://missourieducationwatchdog.com/wp-content/themes/_blognews/timthumb.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fmissourieducationwat chdog.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F12%2F4th-grade-CCSS-math-problem-560x420.jpg&q=90&w=285&zc=1

They are required to draw 18 circles, and put 1 hash mark near each circle until they get to circle 18, loop back to the beginning with another hash mark near each circle to the end, and repeat this until they have drawn 90 total hash marks, and then count how many marks are near each circle. If they do it the mathematically correct way (90/18) they fail. Folks, using hash marks is the cave man way of doing it, and you won't learn ANYTHING doing it that way. That is how people who know nothing at all about math are forced to do it in totally uneducated regions of the world, IF they are stupid as well as not educated. This is cold hard proof that our educational system is actually training the kids to think like monkeys. If in the 4th grade your educational level is so low that you are required to hash mark out math, you have no education at all and the requirement of doing it this way or face failure is insurance to the global elite that you will attend school, LEARN NOTHING, and fail if you are taught how to do it the correct way elsewhere and insist on doing it right.

After having this new common core method forced on them, fourth graders who got straight A's on internationally standardized math tests in third grade were reduced to C's D's and F's on internationally standardized tests in the fourth grade. The sabotage is so effective in removing proper mathematical thinking from the children that what is learned in past years is over written and lost. Common core is an act of war on America, but we all know who is now in control of our education. And with this "elite" zionist community seeking permanent intellectual dominance over all people, it is easy to see why common core is getting rammed down America's throat.

In this linked video, an Arkansas mother speaks out about this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZEGijN_8R0#t=161)

In this video Luke Rudkowski speaks with Department of Education whistleblower Charlette Iserbyt about the deliberate dumbing down of America. The former US Department of Education Senior Policy Advisor suggests that the our educational system is not based upon children learning. Is the Carnegie foundation instrumental in developing a socialist-collectivist style educational system that is detrimental to our youth? Are the elites impacting the development of the general population through our school systems?

The Common Core educational initiative, according to its official website, strives to provide "a set of high-quality academic standards in mathematics and English language arts/literacy." Its critics, however, see it very differently. This opposition, led by professors of education, mathematicians, former members of the Department of Education, the largest teachers' union in the country, and countless other professionals, is seeking to derail this educational agenda before it can fully take over schools across the United States.

Why are these groups opposed to Common Core, and what is Common Core's real purpose? Find out more in this week's BoilingFrogsPost.com Eyeopener report.

I am amazed that people think globalization is about more effective competition as Bill Gates states. Its the complete opposite long term. But you do get products at slave prices. So that's good.

I am pleased to see how strong this movement is. It's a shame other issues don't get as much attention or coordination of resistance.

The Common Core Standards control the testing and curriculum of public schools and a large number of private schools in over forty states in the nation. Sold to the public as a needed reform, the Common Core nationalizes absurdity, superficiality, and political bias in the American classroom. As a result, the great stories of a great nation are at risk, along with the minds and souls of our children.

David Coleman: Coming at you

Parents around the United States are quickly coming to the realization that the Common Core State Standards Initiative is insane and actually makes it more difficult for a child to learn anything substantive. Take for example the unnecessary and ridiculous processes they want children to use just to subtract numbers (http://thetruthwins.com/archives/you-wont-believe-the-method-that-common-core-is-using-to-teach-our-kids-subtraction). Even the National Review published an article (http://www.nationalreview.com/article/373840/ten-dumbest-common-core-problems-alec-torres) providing several examples that clearly illustrates the madness that is Common Core. The intent of Common Core is to brainwash children into obsessing over processes and irrelevant details versus solving a problem in the most effective and efficient manner possible. It should be no surprise that this retarded and crazy system was primarily dreamed up by Jews. Many Jews are mentally ill due to years of inbreeding and possess a biological craving to destroy, infiltrate and ruin anything good that exists in the natural world. It is really sad that their insanity is now being used to destroy the minds of children.

The Jewish Daily Forward openly brags in a 2013 article that the primary architect of Common Core is a Jew by the name of David Coleman. Coleman is pictured above. As hard as it is to believe this guy looks more Jewish than current CNN President Jeff Zucker who is arguably one of the most Jewish looking Jews on the planet. Below is an excerpt from the article (http://forward.com/articles/182587/david-coleman-the-most-influential-education-figur/?p=all) describing Coleman.

Today, Coleman, a Jewish man with colorful socks who speaks at an urgent clip, is the most influential education figure you’ve never heard of. As president of the College Board, a national education company, he is redesigning the SAT, the standardized test which high school seniors take for college admission, and he is expanding the Advanced Placement program (http://www.politico.com/story/2013/08/education-advanced-placement-classes-tests-95723.html?hp=t1), which offers college-level classes and tests for high school students.

He is perhaps best known as the architect of the Common Core State Standards Initiative, meant to bring divergent state learning goals into alignment. Public schools in 47 states will begin teaching the Core in English Language Arts this fall. But as standardized testing increasingly comes under attack, and as teachers and politicians from both the left and right try to roll back the Common Core, it’s unclear what Coleman’s legacy will be.

Even more telling is the fact that the article suggests that the Common Core State Standards Initiative was inspired by Judaism.

Coleman gleaned many lessons from his bar mitzvah, said Jason Zimba, a Common Core co-writer and lifelong friend who taught mathematics at Bennington College, where Coleman’s mother Elizabeth served as president. “The idea that the child’s serious attention to this venerated, beautiful text is valued by the adults and even the rabbi is to David a beautiful thing,” Zimba said. “I’ve listened to him talk about that.”

The Colemans held David’s bar mitzvah in their home instead of in a fancy hall. It sent Coleman a clear message: What mattered most was his speech on his Torah portion, Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream. “I wondered why Joseph is so often humiliated, why Joseph is thrown down so many times before he interprets the dreams for Pharaoh,” Coleman recalled. “Three times before the interpretation, he’s thrown down. Why? If you read the text carefully what gradually emerges in Joseph is… a kind of achieved humility.”

The experience of conducting a deep exegesis at age 13 framed Coleman’s thinking about education. “The idea that kids can do more than we think they can is one of Judaism’s most beautiful contributions,” he said. Asking 13-year-olds to give a prepared speech in front of people they love is a bold charge, not unlike encouraging disadvantaged kids who don’t see themselves as academically minded to take AP courses. “I wish kids could encounter more stretched opportunities like that in school — all kids,” he said.

Further on in the article it once again suggests that Coleman’s Jewish roots were an inspiration for Common Core.

While working on the Grow Network, Coleman tried to “fill the promise that assessment results could actually improve kids’ lives,” he said. But he found that educational problems run deeper: The standards the tests were trying to measure “were so vast and vague, it’s hard to make high-quality assessments.” Coleman sold the Grow Network to McGraw-Hill, and formed Student Achievement Partners, a not-for-profit that now helps states implement the Common Core standards. In 2008, he and Zimba co-wrote a seminal paper calling for “math and science standards that are fewer, clearer, higher.”

These ideas, Sherman speculated, stem from Coleman’s religious background. “He grew up in a family that extremely prioritized the value and importance of a deep, broad education,” Sherman said. “Those Jewish values toward education have a lot to do with his belief system: Every child should be a smart thinker, a deep thinker, someone who’s analytical and probing.” Coleman also believes that religious texts have a place in the public school curriculum.

Of course Coleman isn’t the only Jew that has been involved in the creation of Common Core. Another Jew by the name of Michael Cohen the President of Achieve (http://www.achieve.org/michael-cohen) has also helped to corrupt young minds with these evil standards. Achieve was formed in the 1990s in order to help standardize what children get taught in all 50 states so naturally the organization played a key role in Common Core.

The fact that Jews played a major role in creating Common Core is reason enough to reject it. These standards have been implemented with the sole purpose of turning our children into drooling retards who are incapable of solving problems efficiently. If you have children and they attend the public brainwashing system you are out of your mind. Please remove your children from these Jewish brainwashing facilities immediately for their own mental health and sanity.

‘The story about Bill Gates’ swift and silent takeover of American education is startling. His role and the role of the U.S. Department of Education in drafting and imposing the Common Core standards on almost every state should be investigated by Congress.

The idea that the richest man in America can purchase and–working closely with the U.S. Department of Education–impose new and untested academic standards on the nation’s public schools is a national scandal. A Congressional investigation is warranted.

The close involvement of Arne Duncan raises questions about whether the law was broken.’

Fresh off its “Hate Map” that inspired a fellow leftist to go to the Family Research Council headquarters in an attempt to kill a bunch of people and rub their faces with Chick-fil-A sandwiches, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has issued a derisive report condemning opposition to Common Core (http://www.splcenter.org/sites/default/files/downloads/publication/public_schools_in_the_crosshairs.pdf) as a propaganda effort by “far-right extremists” to destroy public schools.

“Across the United States, a fierce wave of resistance is engulfing the Common Core State Standards, threatening to derail this ambitious effort to lift student achievement and, more fundamentally, to undermine the very idea of public education,” the May 2014 report proclaims.

The report largely ignores the large number of critics on the American political left, including the Chicago Teachers Union, who deplore Common Core because it mandates evermore standardized testing. It also largely ignores the complaints of a multitude of critics on the right, who oppose a technocratic takeover of public education that wrests education decisions out of the hands of local school boards and parents.

Instead, the SPLC report insists, opposition to Common Core comes from “far-right extremists” who oppose Common Core out of fears it will “indoctrinate young children into ‘the homosexual lifestyle’” and “turn children into ‘green serfs’ who will serve a totalitarian ‘New World Order.’”

“The disinformation campaign is being driven by the likes of Fox News, the John Birch Society, Tea Party factions, and the Christian Right,” the report declares. The SPLC also mentions “the Koch brothers,” of course.

The conspiracy theorists behind the SPLC report theorize that “the radical right” hopes to use opposition to Common Core as a proxy in a broader fight to terminate all public education for some 50 million schoolchildren in the United States.

“The Christian Right is reprising themes from earlier battles over the teaching of evolution, school prayer, sex education and more recent efforts to stop the bullying of LGBT students,” the SPLC claims. “Their moneyed allies seek to privatize the education landscape.”

The SPLC calls public education – in one-size-fits-all public schools – a “linchpin not only of our prosperity but of the American ideal of equality for all.”

“Political leaders and policymakers at all levels must reject the extremism that has polluted the debate and focus on the real issues,” the report urges.

The SPLC is, of course, most famous because a man named Floyd Lee Corkins used an SPLC “Hate Map” to find the Family Research Council headquarters in Washington, DC. He entered the headquarters lobby in August 2012 in an attempt to “to kill as many people as possible” and “smother Chick-fil-A sandwiches in their faces” because he disagreed with the conservative organization about gay marriage. Corkins managed to shoot a security guard. The guard disarmed him. (RELATED: Family Research Council shooter pleads guilty)

poorly explained method results in gibberish. Bonus unnecessary step included. The way it's laid out it looks like 2 math problems being rolled into one.

When I am infirm and under someone else's care, how can I be confident they can work out how much medicine I need?

If you read the comments they have a few disciples defending it as counting change back. I tries using that mythology and still don't get it yet I can count change back very well.

Sometimes I add a couple dollars and change to my bill and people that can't count really have no clue. I just want a $5 bill back man.

I often do this as well. At supermarkets it is ok because the clerk can type in the amount I gave them and the till calculates the change. For smaller stores it can be a problem if mental arithmetic like this is required. I get the point of breaking down into chunks. I do this but I do not do it using this kind of methodology. I wonder why they say using one of the numbers in 26 to come up with the number 10 has any bearing on the problem solving process.

Can any one explain that one to me please?

I think it is the same mental process some that I know utilize. 10 is just an easy base, but really it is irrelevant. 30 is the number that is key for this particular problem.

Putting the following into text is so much longer than the mental calc.

Basically they pulled from 17 a number that rounded up the first (26). 4 makes 30, 13 remainder, 43 is the answer.

We all probably use this method mentally.

I suck at math but yet am a mathamagician. I use my own method which does involve 'tens' bill is 9.18 so I give the person ten bux and 25¢ and 4 dollars... they are lost. See? If not for a calculator "register" they have absolutely no clue. Go to a fast food deal, they look at little pictures for your order, big mack, Q pounder, they don't need to fucking spell let alone change.

3X4 can indeed equal 11... unless you are building an airplane, or a huge la bomba!

I came to the conclusion tody that Common Core gives children permission to quit learning halfway through the process. It also gives "teachers" permission to quit teaching halfway through the process.

I'm categorically skeptical of attempts to lump responsibility for commie-core, which was at least decades in the development, onto one personality. Add that this is published at gatekeeping sites alternet & huffpo, and, well...

Time for Congress to Probe Bill Gates’ Education Coup (http://www.alternet.org/education/time-congress-probe-bill-gates-education-coup?paging=off¤t_page=1) Wednesday 9th June 2014

I think the idea is correct, math is a serious problem in US. Imagine you are a CEO of a giant corp like Microsoft and you need to hire local talent. And your pool is shrinking by the day because US public schools don't teach math. So you start hiring asians, and russians, and indians. And then you give up and go completely to India (20,000 indian programmers have access to Windows source code, that's why last 3 Windows OS releases SUCKED). But India has better math education than US.

So , aside from the fact that Billy is a sold-out to globalist elite... he probably originally intended well. But his execution sucks, which is natural for people who has been great at one specific technical field and then have to solve significant non-technical problems.

A couple articles which discuss, at least in part, commie core:

Common Core anger triggers homeschooling surge (http://grizzom.blogspot.com/2014/08/common-core-anger-triggers.html)

http://christianhomeschoolersofwilson.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/homeschooling-pic.jpg (http://christianhomeschoolersofwilson.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/homeschooling-pic.jpg)

While the sputtering economy is the reason families are choosing homeschooling over private schooling, the nationalized learning experiment (Common Core) is the main reason families are leaving the public schools in the first place.

“Common Core is a big factor that I hear people talk about,” Beth Herbert, founder of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Association, told NewsObserver.com. “They’re not happy with the work their kids are coming home with. They’ve decided to take their children home.”

In-the-know parents understand that Common Core’s plodding approach to math instruction leaves students unprepared for college study in STEM courses – science, technology, engineering and math.
These same parents also realize that the nationalized learning standards’ emphasis of nonfiction, “informational” texts over classic literature is intended to mold students into drone-like workers, not out-of-the-box thinkers.

This presentation focuses on the myriad ways in which the powers-that-be in the United States have been systematically dumbing down Americans as a society for a very long time – all by meticulously calculated design. Originally the term dumbing down (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumbing_down) was used as a slang expression in 1933 by film screenwriters to mean “revising [the script] so as to appeal to those of lower education or intelligence.”

The most obvious example of how Americans have been dumbed down is through this nation’s failed public education system. At one time not that long ago America reigned supreme as a leading model for the rest of the world providing the best quality free public K-12 education system on the planet. But over the last many decades while much of the rest of the world has been passing us by, it seems an insidious federal agenda has been implemented to condition and brainwash a population of mindless, robotic citizenry that simply does what it’s told, and of course the brainwashing commences early in America’s schools.

Steve Jobs To His Kids: Don’t Use Ipads (http://patriotrising.com/2014/09/15/steve-jobs-kids-dont-use-ipads/)

Technocratic elites realize electronic devices are tools of distraction, dumbing down

http://patriotrising.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/kids-ipads-300x137.jpg (http://patriotrising.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/kids-ipads.jpg)
A recent New York Times article exemplified how technological and billionaire elites live by different standards than they prescribe to the American populace.

A piece entitled “Steve Jobs Was a Low-Tech Parent (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/11/fashion/steve-jobs-apple-was-a-low-tech-parent.html?_r=0),” discusses how the late Apple CEO refused to allow his children to play with one of the company’s most popular devices, the Ipad.

“So, your kids must love the iPad?” I asked Mr. Jobs, trying to change the subject. The company’s first tablet was just hitting the shelves. “They haven’t used it,” he told me. “We limit how much technology our kids use at home.”

I’m sure I responded with a gasp and dumbfounded silence. I had imagined the Jobs’s household was like a nerd’s paradise: that the walls were giant touch screens, the dining table was made from tiles of iPads and that iPods were handed out to guests like chocolates on a pillow.

Nope, Mr. Jobs told me, not even close.

Since then, I’ve met a number of technology chief executives and venture capitalists who say similar things: they strictly limit their children’s screen time, often banning all gadgets on school nights, and allocating ascetic time limits on weekends.

Unfortunately, The Times didn’t press Jobs for a more in-depth explanation on why he restricted his kids’ use of a device that’s now played with by millions of children throughout the world, but the fact that various elites have followed in the tech guru’s steps suggests there is a double standard between how they raise their children, and how they believe lower and middle class American parents should.

The double standard is clear when one considers the actions of billionaires, such as former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, whose foundation has invested millions of dollars pushing the Common Core curriculum onto public schools, but who opts to send his own children to private academies where the Common Core standard is not taught (http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/23/bill-gates-wants-to-force-common-core-on-your-kids-but-leave-his-kids-out-of-it/).

Another New York Times article from 2011 (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/23/technology/at-waldorf-school-in-silicon-valley-technology-can-wait.html?pagewanted=all) also revealed that some charter schools where elites send their children prohibit computer monitors, a stark contrast to the flood of computers we’ve seen fill public schools over the past few decades.

The chief technology officer of eBay sends his children to a nine-classroom school here. So do employees of Silicon Valley giants like Google, Apple, Yahoo and Hewlett-Packard.

But the school’s chief teaching tools are anything but high-tech: pens and paper, knitting needles and, occasionally, mud. Not a computer to be found. No screens at all. They are not allowed in the classroom, and the school even frowns on their use at home.

Schools nationwide have rushed to supply their classrooms with computers, and many policy makers say it is foolish to do otherwise. But the contrarian point of view can be found at the epicenter of the tech economy, where some parents and educators have a message: computers and schools don’t mix.

[…]

While other schools in the region brag about their wired classrooms, the Waldorf school embraces a simple, retro look — blackboards with colorful chalk, bookshelves with encyclopedias, wooden desks filled with workbooks and No. 2 pencils.

On a recent Tuesday, Andie Eagle and her fifth-grade classmates refreshed their knitting skills, crisscrossing wooden needles around balls of yarn, making fabric swatches. It’s an activity the school says helps develop problem-solving, patterning, math skills and coordination. The long-term goal: make socks.

As discussed in author and former US Education Department Senior Policy Advisor Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt’s informative book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, putting computers in the classroom is part of a larger agenda which has been in motion for decades, the ultimate goal of which is to create an educational system that pumps out a nation of mindless worker drones.

“The call for a socialist America, of course, requires that the schools abandon traditional academic ‘teaching’ and substitute ‘workforce training’ or ‘technademics’ to accommodate the needs of a planned economy,” writes Iserbyt in the latest rendition of her work.

As evidence that the upper echelon believes technology is an essential factor for fundamental educational transformation, Thompson points to a statement made by former Florida governor and chairman of the Foundation for Excellence in Education Jeb Bush – via education blogger Kathryn Baron (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:YguxGSLT-MEJ:toped.svefoundation.org/2011/10/14/jeb-bushs-ed-reform-show-in-san-francisco/&hl=en&gl=us&strip=1) – speaking at an education reform meeting, in which he advocated “a combination of school choice (vouchers), Common Core standards, rigorous assessments, consequences for anything less than excellence and using technology to transform education.” [emphasis added]

Iserbyt also highlights a 1972 article by education researcher Mary Thompson which outlined how technology in the classroom, among other things, is part of a system ultimately intending to bring about “Distance Learning,” an “innovation” which would lead to the eventual “offshoring” of teaching jobs and relegate “teachers” to mere “tutors, monitors or overseers.“

From Thompson’s article:

“The warning bears repeating that teachers had better leave their concentration on the minutia of each maneuver in the process being carried by all of the above and others, to concentrate on the big picture of plans afoot for the function of teachers being planned and programmed for extinction or demotion to becoming tutors, monitors, or overseers to keep students on task in front of their computer screens with ‘direct instruction’ being imparted from anywhere in the world. I repeat, wake up teachers, your jobs are about to be ‘offshored’ just as manufacturing, engineering and other professions have been. Your unions won’t be able to counteract it any more than industry unions were able to do for the unemployed of empty factories and lost professional positions. Students will be phased into ‘programmed’ curricula designed to produce worker bees for global economies. The authority of those selected to represent the voters and taxpayers is already being undermined as charter schools, with their unelected boards, are being used as a transmission belt to the final objective of Distance Learning.”

Additionally, the elites who restrict their own children’s screen time may also be proactively addressing health concerns.

Last year, an AFP report (https://web.archive.org/web/20120401012943/http://ca.news.yahoo.com/concerns-grow-over-children-using-tablet-computers-203057554.html) touched on “warnings from some researchers that tablets can cause developmental difficulties and problems including autism or attention deficit disorder” for children warnings which were brushed off by technology experts.

Other reports document how computer monitors, phones and tablets are leading to an increase of eye-related disorders (http://www.wtop.com/267/3528317/Mobile-device-use-raises-risk-of-eye-syndrome), as well as inducing sleeplessness among “device-dependent children.” (http://news.yahoo.com/sleep-problems-plague-device-dependent-175700827.html;_ylt=AwrBEiTMxhRTJkYAN17QtDMD) Wireless internet frequencies, which many tablet and ipad devices utilize, have also been linked to potential health risks (http://infowars.net/articles/may2007/210507wi-fi.htm), such as cancer.

The fact that billionaires consciously limit their children’s device screen time and opt out of public education, while at the same time promoting both for the public, should be red flags signaling a deliberate plot to establish a future workforce comprised of dumbed down Americans.

This is all just a distraction. The real issue is why do we even bother with schools anymore? We send our kids off to school at a cost of what about 8,000-10,000 per kid per year? After 13 years they get a diploma that entitles them to work at Mcdonalds or any other low paying do nothing job. We waste 13 years of our kids lives sitting in a classroom where they really want to learn but arent able to because of stupid government mandates.
Then they are told if you want a good job you need higher education. Spend 100k of your own money then you can get a good job. Except those jobs dont exist.

Brett Veinotte - Hour 1 - The School Sucks Project (http://www.redicecreations.com/radio/2014/11/RIR-141103.php)
November 3, 2014

Brett Veinotte has worked in education for the last 12 years, in a variety of capacities. After leaving classroom teaching in 2006, Brett began to work exclusively as a private tutor in the greater Boston area. In 2009, he began The School Sucks Podcast as an outlet for the lessons and experiences he had gathered in and around the schools.

The show addresses the problems, history and hidden lessons of American compulsory schooling, but also covers a variety of educational topics including The Trivium, communication, mainstream media, peaceful parenting, philosophy, self-esteem, history and political science. Brett will discuss the difference between schooling vs. education and the importance of cognitive liberty. We’ll also compare past to present day intelligence levels and hear about the Flynn effect. Then, Brett tells about the 9 types of intelligence. Later on, we’ll discuss Charlotte Iserbyt’s work, John Dewey, the Scandinavian school system and the banning of homeschool in Europe. Brett also comments on anti-bullying laws in school and how it creates helplessness.

In the member’s hour, we’ll speak more about homeschooling and what to do if it’s illegal in your area. He’ll also give his view on fighting the political system. Then, we’ll discuss how parents have become an enforcer for school, changing the dynamics of the parent/child relationship. Brett also talks about the 6 pillars of self-esteem. We’ll move on to talk about the power of pop culture and whether parents should shield their children from the programming. At the end of the hour, Brett gives advice for people who want to drop out of school.

Education programming 101: destroy logic (http://www.redicecreations.com/article.php?id=32217)
2014 12 04

Once upon a time, in medieval universities, new students enrolled in the Trivium. It was the foundation curriculum. It was required. Its parts were: grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Grammar: the interior construction of language. Logic: the valid and invalid connections in the course of a formal argument; the method of proper reasoning; the deductive links in a chain, at the ...

This article focuses on the death of logic in schools.

When the intensive handling of ideas is seen as a laughable goal for education, indoctrination is plugged in as the only alternative.

The mind of the student shifts from being an active force to being a container.

The destruction of logic perverts rational thought at its core and inserts ideology masked as insight.

The actual meaning of an idea is firmly placed on the back burner. Instead? Praise or attack the people who forward ideas.

This strategy has gained great prominence.

and to quickly follow that up with this. Most people suffer from this one. Including some from here.

“The revered Founders of the Republic? Shysters, con men, slaveholders, monopolists who saw rebellion from England as the way to win greater power for themselves, at the expense of everyone else living on American soil.”

Therefore, the argument continues, and this is crucial, the Founders’ IDEAS, as expressed in the Declaration and the Constitution, were rotten to the core. The ideas can be dismissed out of hand as coming from “a bad source.”

Ideas no longer need to be judged on their sense, merit, and alignment with basic principles. Nor are they judged by their position in a well-formed argument. All that is out. Now, you only have to “look to the source” and make ALL your decisions based on “who these people really were who expressed the ideas.”

And since that’s the case, learning to think or reason is unnecessary.

In logic, this used to be called the fallacious ad hominem argument. Now it’s not called anything. It’s praised as the insightful way to do intellectual business.

The Life Work of John Taylor Gatto: A Great Thinker on Self Education and Author of Dumbing Us Down, The Underground History of American Education and Weapons of Mass Instruction: A Schoolteacher’s Journey Through the Dark World of Compulsory Schooling

“Whatever an education is, it should make you a unique individual, not a conformist; it should furnish you with an original spirit with which to tackle the big challenges; it should allow you to find values which will be your road map through life; it should make you spiritually rich, a person who loves whatever you are doing, wherever you are, whomever you are with; it should teach you what is important: how to live and how to die.” (John Taylor Gatto, Dumbing Us Down)

Who is John Taylor Gatto?

John Taylor Gatto is a widely-respected former teacher and the author of many non-fiction books on the problems of compulsory schooling.

After being recognized as the New York City Teacher of the Year in 1990, John Taylor Gatto stood before the crowd and outlined the problems he saw with the current educational system:

“I’ve noticed a fascinating phenomenon in my 25 years of teaching — that schools and schooling are increasingly irrelevant to the great enterprises of the planet. No one believes anymore that scientists are trained in science classes or politicians in civics classes or poets in English classes. The truth is that schools don’t really teach anything except how to obey orders. This is a great mystery to me because thousands of humane, caring people work in schools as teachers and aids and administrators but the abstract logic of the institution overwhelms their individual contributions. Although teachers do care and do work very hard the institution is psychopathic, it has no conscience. It rings a bell and the young man in the middle of writing a poem must close his notebook and move to different cell where he must memorize that man and monkeys derive from a common ancestor.”

The next year, Gatto was named New York State Teacher of the Year and gave one of the most memorable acceptance speeches in the history of education. He explained that, by nature of the profession, educators teach 7 lessons: confusion, class position, indifference, emotional dependency, intellectual dependency, provisional self-esteem, and a lack of privacy.

Several months later, Gatto resigned from teaching and dedicated his time to sharing his experiences as an educator.

John Taylor Gatto’s Educational Philosophy

As a prolific writer, Gatto has shared many thoughts on the problems of schooling and how they can be remedied. Some of the most important points he makes are:
•Compulsory education harms students
•People learn from authentic experiences and choices
•The family and the community are essential to a child’s development

During his years as a teacher, Gatto sought to incorporate all of these positions by helping kids have experiences outside of the classroom (yes, even on school days) and connecting them with people in the community.

In Dumbing Us Down: The Hidden Curriculum of Compulsory Schooling, he explains:

“Bit by bit I began to devise guerrilla exercises to allow as many of the kids I taught as possible the raw material people always use to educate themselves: privacy, choice, freeom from surveillance, and as broad a range of situations and human associations as my limited power and resources could manage. In simpler terms, I tried to maneuver them into positions where they would have the chance to be their own teachers and make themselves the major text of their own education.”

Gatto’s students held extensive internships in offices around the neighborhood, spent time volunteering, and often had some rather amazing adventures.

How John Taylor Gatto Has Made a Difference

As a high-profile educator, Gatto has been able to spread the word about self-education across the nation. Although it’s been over a decade since he resigned, many still turn to his speeches, articles, and books for an inside look at what’s happening inside today’s classrooms.

Although Gatto’s writings tend to focus on the education of children and young adults, his words can help anyone who is trying to make sense of their own schooling experiences and kindle a love of true education.

Australia goes Full Core. Our's is called NAPLAN.

Modern maths: no textbooks, year levels or rote learning

Victorian schools are axing textbooks, times table jingles and rote learning in an attempt to reverse an alarming decline in students' maths skills.
Academics have warned of a maths crisis, with the latest NAPLAN results showing no significant improvement in students' performance since the tests were introduced in 2008.

The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) tells a similar story: in 2012 Australian teens were ranked equal 17th in maths compared with other OECD countries, down from fifth in 2003. And the number of students taking advanced VCE maths subjects is at its lowest level in a decade.

Australia's chief scientist, Professor Ian Chubb, said the figures were a wake-up call and schools needed to do more to excite and inspire students about science and maths. "We have to lift our game across the board," he said.
How some Victorian schools are addressing the issue:

Throw out your textbooks
Parents forking out hundreds of dollars to buy textbooks will be pleased to hear that some maths teachers are scrapping them.........
....

No more teaching formulas
Senior maths students are no longer flipping through textbooks to find maths formulas at some schools. Year 11 Maths Methods students at the John Monash Science School are encouraged to use physical objects to come up with their own formulas. Students are folding pieces of paper to work out the maximum surface area of a triangle, as an introduction to calculus. Students share their findings and the class collectively comes up with a formula that fits, said head of maths Luke Bohni. "It's about developing student ownership of the learning process, getting away from that teacher directed learning and allowing students to direct their own learning."

Ditch rote learning of time tables
Gone are the days of catchy times table songs and rhymes. Merely memorising times tables is useless, unless students understand what they are reciting, said Colleen Vale, an Associate Professor in Education at Deakin University. Students had become so reliant on times table jingles that they had to "go through a whole rhyme" before arriving at an answer, she said......
......

No hierarchies
Year 7 and 9 maths students at Sunshine College are not split up into year levels or streams. Based on a practice called differentiated learning, students are combined in a composite class, and can choose from a range of 12 assignments of varying degrees of difficulty. This deals with the huge spread in academic ability, with a recent Grattan Institute report suggesting the gap could be up to eight year levels in a single classroom. Maths teacher Ms Reilly said the model gave students confidence, and pushed students to their full potential.

This philosophy has been at the heart of maths program Kumon, which gives students work sheets based on students' abilities, rather than year level.

Modern maths: no textbooks, year levels or rote learning

gotta say, that "maths" word was new to me as of a couple years ago. It's not in usage in the americas; I'm lumping in Canada as well but not sure about that. The plural of "math" is "mathematics" in the Am's, such that when I see "maths", it looks improper without an apostrophe, IE "math's".

Another new one was the word for the letter Z. Am's say "Zee", while UK/AU/NZ peeps say "Zed". Is "Zed" taught in schools there? or is "Zed" a grass roots improvement on the letter which sounds too close to B, C, D, E, G, P, T, & V?

Coz last I heard, Zed's dead baby, Zed's dead! :D

It's interesting coz for example the Scrabble board game has its own official dictionary, for serious players, to settle questions over whether this or that is a legitimate word. Alphabet letters ARE ALLOWED, if "spelled" with 1-2 additional letters such as "Zee". So I'm curious whether UK/AU/NZ words like "maths" & "zed" are in the (US version of?) the Scrabble dictionary?

Australians (Oar Stray Lee Anns) are generally easy going people. Some might call it lazy.

basically if we can save ourselves a few letters when saying words we will.

so mathematics becomes maths. David becomes Davo. Steven becomes Stevo. Jerry becomes Jez. Samantha becomes Sam. Etc.

One of the few exceptions is John which becomes Johno. However if it were Johnathon, then Johno is a saving of several letters.

Americans know about communists and commo's. Seems you didn't take it far enough.

edit: actually thats not right is it? You call em commies. I guess we use either. Still.....

That is the same thing they are doing in Scotland. Called the "named person". So basically it is a spy who's job it is, it to find an excuse to take your children for the paedophiles.

The next step from this will be to put kids in dormitories from birth. Sure its maybe 2 generations away but it might come sooner. Still 40 years is not a long time.

The planned outcome is for all children to be either taken into care at birth or for births only to occur from selected pre-housed females - ie.e breeder stock. The child will be raised in these enclosed facilities. They will not be seen in public until they are old enough to either be taxed or sexed. So it could be anytime from 12 to 18.

in fact I think they will be sexed from 12 initially, in the facility and before they are released into "adulthood" (which is just another name for taxable). So we might not even see teenagers in general population.

The world will not even know what a child is, won't see one or hear one laughing or playing etc. There will just be adults who appear during some kind of ceremony perhaps and they will work as technicians and will be taxed at 100%. Given a set food at the refractory/food hall and some tokens which can be redeemed for the increased chocolate ration or maybe some of those boots that seem to be so important.

then when they hit 50 or there abouts they will go to life reasignment department for deletion.

The cycle of life is complete.

Common Core: Surveillance, Standardization, and the Sexualization of Children
The Crazz Files
April 25, 2016

Common Core is a federal takeover of the public education system, where a single set of learning standards is intended to replace each state’s curriculum. The standards were designed by the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers. Forty-five states have adopted the standards.

There are many problems with Common Core. Here’s one: Common Core reading materials are designed to “groom” young people and leave them vulnerable to molestation and sexual abuse.

ADHD is the new education by Jon Rappoport May 18, 2016

“There is a form of mind control that is really mind-chaos. It shatters the processes of thought into, at best, vaguely related fragments. There is no direction, no development, no progress along a line of reasoning. This is how you disable a person. You disrupt his ability to move from A to B to C. At that point, he becomes passive. He’s willing to be programmed, because it’s easier. He wants to be programmed.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

“I learned twenty-four new things today at school,” the child said. “One right after the other. I felt so happy. My teacher told me I was learning accelerated. I wrote on my iPad. I saw pictures. I did group harmony. I added. I divided. I heard about architecture. The teacher said we were filled with wonder at the universe. We solved a problem. We’re all together. I ate cheese. A factory makes cheese.”

The new education is ADHD.

It’s a method of teaching that surrenders ground on each key concept, deserting it before it’s firmly fixed in the mind of the student... more:

Straight A Students Being Held Back a Grade for Refusing to Take Common Core Standardized Tests

Parents across the country are revolting against an obviously agenda-driven brainwashing system that is our nation’s modern public schools, while the system is doing everything it can to force compliance.

Parents who opted their kids out of Florida’s standardized state tests at the end of the year as an act of civil disobedience are now being told their children, despite some having straight As, are going to be held back a grade as punishment… once again proving that America’s public school system is not about educating smart future leaders of tomorrow, but dumbing kids down and forcing them to obey and conform.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Dr. Joseph Farrell returns to Our Interesting Times to discuss Rotten to the (Common) Core: Public Schooling, Standardized Tests, and the Surveillance, a book he co-wrote with Gary Lawrence. We talk briefly about the troubled history of compulsory education in the United States and the secret agendas behind it. Later we discuss how corporations are enriching themselves under the guise of public education and the problems with standardized testing which Dr. Farrell sees as a mass data collection operation being carried out for the benefit of the corporate state. Dr. Farrell has a doctorate in patristics from the University of Oxford, and pursues research in physics, alternative history and science, and "strange stuff". He is the author of many books in the field of alternative research including The Giza Death Star, Reich of the Black Sun, The SS Brotherhood of the Bell, LBJ and the Conspiracy to Kill Kennedy, The Nazi International and Hidden Finance, Rogue Networks, and Secret Sorcery: The Fascist International, 9/11, and Penetrated Operations. I was liking this vlogger "Victurus Libertas VL (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnFxU-3nW6XAAQfHkOFMalA/videos)", but cog-diss time now as he's had this following guest on 2x now, & this most recent one he chose a title which would leave passersby who don't watch the 48 min interview, with the (((toxic payload))) in their minds anyways. :(

I commented a dissenting view,

This guest has interesting things to say for sure, but not buying the "scary moozlem/Islamic plot" poison pill part. We all know which kosher trans-generational organized crime cult masquerading as a "religion", lays at the ROOT of Commie Core; & the murder of the West by lethal 3rd world injection; and the vaster JWO agenda. But oh how convenient for them & their Clash of Civilization agenda, to dis-lead people to think it's all an evil ISLAMIC plot, lol.

...but it appears it's (((shadow suppressed))), where the device/gootube account I used to leave the comment makes it appear as if it's there for all to read; but I open the video on a different device and check for my comment, & whoopsie daisy, it's majikally not there.

In fact, with a fresh simultaneous refresh of the YT video page on both devices, the device with which I made the comment indicates there's 71 comments so far (incl mine above), while the other device which I never use to log into that gootube account, (((indicates))) there's only 56 comments.

Weird thing though, is many of the comments which DO appear in the 56 comments version, express roughly the same sentiment I did! :(??

Here's the prior time she was guest on the ...VL channel:

yes TPTB put out a lot of counter theories, variations, deviations etc. Limited hangout joined up with Ludicrous elements or conclusions such as ISlam is responsible for common core.

Like 911. It was space lasers, it was nukes, it was thermate, it was 19 muslims in airliners, it was radio controlled jet planes, it was bank robbers stealing billions in gold from underground vaults.

They really don't care which of the particular theories you attach to, so long as you attach to one. You can have it what every color you want so long as it's one of our brands. Then they just chuck shit at the wall knowing most of it will stick to some one or other. Then the arguing over who's theory is better can commence.

School Rejecrs Common Core - gets #1 ranking. Children actually learn how to learn.

Alex Newman gets it. So does this School. Well done!

Of course it's not all beer and skittle.s The School and it's admin are under constant personal and professional attack for daring to teach.

Charter School Rejects Common Core and Ranks #1

Teaching phonics is crucial to teaching reading when dealing with a phonetic writing system such as the one used in the English language. Memorizing so-called “sight words,” by contrast, is mental poison, or Thalidomide for the brain as my friend and colleague Dr. Sam Blumenfeld used to say.

As if more evidence was needed of this, the recent Florida Standards Assessments results from Collier County, Florida, make it perfectly clear. One school, known as the Mason Classical Academy, shines bright in the district. It scored number one in English Language Arts (ELA) in the county, with 90 percent of its third graders scoring proficient.

By contrast, just 58 percent of third graders in the county were proficient, even using Common Core's dumbed-down metrics. And incredibly, they are above the state average. (In California, just 43 percent of third graders were proficient. And six Baltimore public schools could not produce even one student proficient in ELA or math.)

MCA is a so-called “charter” school which, while publicly funded, operates on a different model than traditional government schools and does not use the Obama-backed national standards known as Common Core. The CC, of course, has children memorizing whole words in kindergarten, long before they are introduced to phonics in elementary school. By then, with the whole-word reflex in place, much of the damage to the brain is done, at least for most kids.

Leaving my serious concerns about charter schools aside, when I realized that this school had done so well, I immediately theorized that, unlike normal government schools in the area, MCA probably did not use Common Core, or the CC-mandated quackery known as “whole word” (aka “sight words,” or “look-say”) to teach reading. I was right.

A quick phone call to the founder of the school, Kelly Lichter, revealed that students at MCA were, indeed, learning to read using a phonics program. By contrast, students (or victims) of traditional government schools in Collier County that use Common Core were being subjected to the whole-word fraud.

It was hardly surprising, either, to learn that students at MCA were at the top across Florida as well. Third graders at MCA were in the top 2 percent in the state. In fifth grade, MCA students were in the top 1 percent for Florida. The results speak for themselves.

Anyone who follows government schools and the education establishment will probably not be surprised to learn that, of all the schools in Collier County, MCA alone is being targeted for attack. From the district superintendent and racist kooks on the left-wing fringe to the local establishment propaganda organ known as the Naples Daily News, owned by “fake-news” publishing giant Gannett, it seems like everybody is after MCA.

Why would the local establishment target the one school that is at the top of the charts? Well, probably because MCA's proven success exposes the educational establishment and its true agenda. MCA shows that children can, indeed, be properly educated. And it shows yet again that the national illiteracy crisis is the result of quack pedagogy in the government schools.

Kind of over the top. But I had a few courses in college kinda like this. The proper answer is multiculturalism and divershity.

I gave a presentation where I explained the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning. The students loved my presentation and told me how much it helped them (because nearly everything else was multiculturalism). I don't recall getting a grade for the presentation, probably because it was not related to (((education))).

I do recall a woman student explaining how wonderful and brave infanticide is (not abortion, actual infanticide) in her presentation, she probably got a good grade.

talking to a college (local juco) student the other day -- said that its college algebra professor said too many males, white males in gov, wishes there were more minority females in gov...and that hidden figures movie was the best movie of all time. professor is white male, 60 something years old at piss-ant juco. the bolshevism in colleges reaches all the way to the bottom

delicious irony -- the class started with 28 students....only about 10 remain. the rest couldn't hack it. the white student i was talking to is private school product and has a 100 average in the class. the overwhelming majority of his precious multi-cult public skool snowflakes dropped or failed. wtf....

If you say too many jews in the media, entertainment industry, banks, government agencies, key advisors, education, corporations, positions of influence... you get labeled a name, a name which can cause people to lose jobs and their whole life. Say the same thing about whitey and you are for multiculturalism and for diversity.

While I don't care for Gov. Desantis, here I agree with him, Common Core struck me as "Horseshit" several years ago. I haven't changed my mind.
