Homeless man looks mighty fake to me... I would not have posted this if it wasn't for the fake looking dude.

As Buzzfeed describes (http://www.buzzfeed.com/ryanhatesthis/lady-gaga-took-photos-with-a-homeless-man-telling-him-dont-w) the situation – a homeless man was waiting in line with a bunch of fans outside of Lady Gaga’s hotel.
He had an engagement ring that he wanted to give her; this is him putting the ring on her hand. Photo-op or not – I think this is pretty solid of her. Imagine how this guy must have felt. I give her big time props for this small act of kindness.

She leaned in to take a picture with him and he said, “But I smell.” Her response: “Don’t worry, I smell too.”
She gave the man a rose, some money and took pictures with him.

Earlier this year – Lady Gaga entered into a partnership with Virgin Mobile with a focus on educating concert goers on the problem of youth homelessness. It’s nice to see her taking an active interest in social issues we can all support.

One lucky fan selected at each show will have a $5,000 donation made to a local youth homeless shelter on his or her behalf – and then have the opportunity to increase the donation by spreading the word socially or volunteering for the cause. This fan will also get a special surprise from Mother Monster herself.
Virgin Mobile will also be giving fans a variety of ways to get involved in helping raise money to make a difference. Fans at the shows will be encouraged to tweet pictures of themselves, and for every tweet Virgin Mobile USA will donate $1 to a local youth homeless shelter. In support of the Canadian tour stops, Virgin Mobile Canada will be motivating fans to donate to Re*Generation via a text-to-donate program.
