He it already feels like winter with the leave falling down........I seen only about 12 birds and 5 mosquitos...bees very seldom and the wasps no longer eat lunch from my plate..........sun ultra yeallow but air still smells good.
Have seen more tourist than the last four years together, must be a last hurra........."Mamacita" a Mexican hole in the wall (10X20) eating place closed down, four tables and no one spoke Spanish.
More cars for sale but I havent been to any garare sales.....get all my junk from the Senior Thrieft Store.
Lots of planes overhead, in the old days only once in a while.........and like I posted three weeks ago, I saw my first drone..........also five helicopters this year, only one before in the last ten years.
Lots of new county pickups going by, never seen any of the drivers before.
Sheriff car drove slowwwwwwwwwly by my home and pressed the controller that I keep by my side to turn on the spot lights at the front of my home, he took off like a bullet......why?
So, what about in your area?

was cold here the whole year, weirdly cold. we usually get 15 gallon or so of black raspberries from one of our fields, this year maybe 2 cups was all. apple trees are almost bare as well.
we usually get a lot of illinois tourists around here, this year hardly any, only the locals on on the lake, etc. other thing i've noticed is boat traffic on the big lake. it's usually jam packed with skiers, tubers, pleasure boaters, etc. this year i have had the whole lake to myself almost. was out last night on the 8,500 acre part, couln't see another boat on the whole lake. high gas price i guess.
anyway, bottom line, things here can be summed up as much quieter than usual. much.

I have been noticing weird things all summer long. First we get cold weather in June, then the wind starts blowing... Between the wind and the cold, none of the blossoms on the fruit stay, Most blossoms will fall off below 55 degrees. Then the first of July, we get above 100 and up to 109 for a few weeks. Plants dont tend to blossom in the high heat. Mid July gets back down below 100 and we start getting more wind. Powerful enough to blow over the neighbors trees. Then about 5 weeks ago, we have a bad chemtrail day. The next day most all the fruit fall off my plums and pluot trees, and one variety of grape plant. Several varieties of my vining plants like squash, cantaloup and watermelon stop growing vines . Most of the new fruit falls off and dies. Out of about 40 tomato plants we have only gotten a 3 quart bowl full. Out of about 20 cantaloupe plants we have 7 cantaloups on the vines. The raspberry plants are doing very little this year. My Asian cucumbers and pickling cucumbers have done really well. About 5 days ago, all the sudden the vining plants start growing again. We are getting so much smoke from all the fires that we can barely see the mountains that are 5 miles away, my eyes are REALLY swollen and allergies are bad. We are seeing a lot of California plates up here... and from all over too. I wish people would stop saying for people to move to Idaho....

amazing blue skies yesterday. Maybe 2" of cloud banked way out on the horizon. mid morning we get 1 chem trail right through the middle east to west. We get no visible chemtrails except for maybe 1 or 2 times per year. They tell us its a flight sydney to jo'berg or something. Laid down a thick trail. I watched during the day as this thing spread out to fill the sky with springfield clouds. not common cloud types for here. The afternoon sunlight was very yellow looking. unpleasant.
The offshore cloud kept coming in. This cloud looked similar. I couldn't really tell if we were looking at one big circle of cloud or if they laid down a barrier infront of the cloud. Could be they are trying to stop the rain reaching in land to the food belt. Anyway over cast and some weak drizzle.
Spent the day in the garden. Despite 10 days of rain and 5 of sun, the plants look weak like they are not taking up enough water and nutrients.
