The main reason that I want to have my throad operation on thersday is tha I want to sound better in order to talk more clearly when talking to people about what is to come......I know 100% that this small town can survive the future but only if they follow my plan (I know, I know, here goes God Jr Ponce).......from 2002-2008 I traveled all over this area thinking and taking notes about what could be done...........there is only one main road going N to S and a couple of mountain trails that would be easy to protect from invaders..............block the small local airport, have X vets as our militia and law enforcers. Any current local law enforcers in this area would become advisors only..........anyway, I want to talk to the city council and if they still refuses to do anything then print something in the local newspaper to have a town meeting at our high school so that we can start the ball rolling...............only thing is that I would become a target for the City Mayor because he has allready refused my three times request for a personal meeting/

I feel that in order for me to be safe that the town must also be safe.

Chad? is very raspi......I didn't say this before but I could have gone to OCS in the army, I turned it down for two reasons, my English and my voice, also a TI for basic trainning but once again my voice........so, finally I ended up working for someone who didn't care about my voice but only about what I could do........after talking for more than three minutes no one understand me...........................wrote about this about two months ago, I have acid reflux and one night after trowing up in the middle of the night and going back to bed my voice sounde like the voice of an angel ( (: ) when I woke up the next day and I even lost 90% of my accent, I could sing, yell and whatever.....Agnut didn't know that it was me when I spoke to him on the phone...it was then that I knew that it could be fixed.........better late than never.

Is not a "lump", of the two vocal cords one of them is to skinny so that it wont closed as it should, the Dr is going to inject, something like silicon, this stuff into it to make it bigger.

Ponce, if the risk of complications is low, I say go for it. Especially if your goal is to open discussions with your community; sad to say many people would discount your message if they don't like the way you sound.

You got it frank....maybe that's why the City Mayor wont talk to me....for that one magical day I sounded the way that I wanted to sound all my life and thanks to that one night that I vomited I would hae never learned what my true voice sounded liked........you should had heard me singing........Caruso, move over.

eh, why not. do the surgery. i have acid reflux (gerd) as well. pretty much have had to stop drinking, eating chocolate, tomatoes, all citrus products, and coffee because of it.

My problem is eating to late at night and drinking milk...........1700 hours is the latest that I eat now........ once in a while I take one of those magic pills that they gave me and it does wonders.....but still.....I hate pill and I only take it in a emergency.

Hi Ponce. As Madfranks said, if the risk is low, go for it. I agree; sounds like relatively minor surgery. I’ve had surgeries in the past and been very satisfied with the results.

I do remember your time when we spoke on the phone and your voice was clear and you sounded like you could be a radio announcer. The difference was dramatic.

As you have explained to me that this injection will fill out one of your vocal cords so that it will close and perform properly, its small surgical size relative to your huge potential benefit seems to heavily favor your having the surgery.

We all will be watching and waiting for the results.
