It is indeed an interesting book but not canon. I'm convinced that the 66 books we have are the ones that God wants as canon.

There is a spiritual significance with numbers and God made that clear starting with the creation, he created everything in 6 days and rested the 7th.
God could have made everything in the blink of an eye but didn't. He wanted the numbers for various reasons.

This applies to number of books as well - the 66 books are borne out as the correct number for many reasons.
God could have made any number of books 1, 15, 35, there is no limit but he choose 66.

By all means read the book of Enoch but also keep in mind that it is not part of scripture, it may have many truths in it but God did not put his official seal of approval on it.

I agree with most of your positions. This one, I am not so sure. I do not believe the bible is the full canon of God's Word. We know it is not. It is not every Word spoken by God nor does it cover every action of God. That simple fact in logic tells us that we have not contained God in the bible. The bible only has pieces of His insights. This is why He sent His Spirit to guide us. But what we do have in the bible is sufficient for us to apply a guideline and build faith. It gives us knowledge of the heart of God and points us in the direction of the Messiah. What must happen from there is supernatural.

Explain what they found is exactly what is exactly written in the Bible about Moses leaving Egypt, golden calf, and God feeding his people in the desert. OK I watched the video... I saw a pile of rocks with a fence around it. I saw no golden calf as they imagined and the v shaped alter looked to me like the corner of a building with walls that were less that a foot thick... 73 does not work for many reasons, if it is 66 books as are in the King James Bible, you have agreement with the Bible as a whole which is what we would expect from God.
God puts clues in his book for those willing to look.

For example, in the tabernacle which God spent an unusual amount of attention to the detail of has a table for the shewbread. It is laid out in 6 loaves of bread each. 6 and 6. God likens his word TO BREAD in many places like Isaiah 55 and Deuteronomy 8 Jesus Christ, which is called the Word, the living Word also calls himself the bread of life.

The Book of Isaiah, sometimes referred to as the mini-Bible has 66 chapters, many of which correspond to the book of the Bible for that particular chapter. Coincidence? I think not.

For example, Genesis is characterized by the creation account, even though there is a lot of history in it, most people associate Genesis with the creation of the heaven and earth. Isaish chapter one says -
Isaiah 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

This peculiar wording of the heaven and earth are found in chapter one, same with the last chapter which seem to correspond to the last book of the (66) Bible - Revelation. Everyone knows that Revelation is an end times book and in Chapter 66 of Isaish you find distinct end time wording like this

Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

How could you miss it?
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.


Not only that but there is a distinct BREAK between Isaish chapter 39 and 40 which is so distinct that even the most liberal Bible scholar recognizes it and what verse do we find in Chapter 40?

Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Which matches the first book of the new testament Matthew 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

The Lord seems to be making it clear that the first 39 chapters represent one part of the canon (OT) and the last 27 books represent the second part of the canon (NT)

66 books - Total

73 are claimed by the councils of hippo and carthage are NOT the same canon as was given to the Levites (39 for the OT) and then the 27 as ordained by the (NT) Christians which are the REPLACEMENT of the priest-"class" of the OT levitical priests.

NT Christians are ALL "priests" today
