I had to sell some silver today!

It sucks, but I sold about 120 t. oz's of silver granule today. We made a nice kitchen in our now permanent house in Sweden, and we put it on our credit card, I knew when we bought the kitchen that I would have to sell some to cover the bill, and the price of silver did go up some from the time we made the purchase, to now. But it still sucks to have to bring it back at this low price. Anyway my wife is happy about the new kitchen, and so am I. I even made some custom built cupboards so that it would fit with the old wood stove and cupboard of our 120 year old house. It didn't cost us too much either, compared to what some people spend on renovating kitchens, and we get more storage space...

glad to hear where you landed. always wondered if you got out of Turkey safely with your family b4 things got really ugly there. selling your silver ounces in sweden? anything new or different others could learn about from your selling a stack experience? think you can get clearances to get your practice started again?

LMAO! Right now I'm in Turkey working, and selling silver to cover the bill. Next month I'll go and plant some grapes at our other bug out land, planning to make my own wine in a few years time. My plan is to be here (Istanbul) 2 weeks earning money and 1 week in Sweden spending quality time with my family. Good thing I have FaceTime on my iPod touch, so I can keep in touch with my loved ones. I have booked all tickets to March. I hope Third World War won't come and interfere with my plans... Well at least my family is somewhat safe!

Wow you have a good memory. At this point I am not planning on working in Sweden, money is too good in Turkey, thus my 2-1 week schedule (actually 12-9 day schedule, so I have two weekends with family every three weeks). I could get a licence to practice chiropractic in Sweden quite easily now, so if it comes to that I do that.

There's just no getting around it, a woman in a man's life means less money in the man's pocket. That's ok though God has set it up to be for the man to take take of his woman. If it makes her happy it was money well spent
