I redeem lawful money so as to not contribute income tax, when I went to register my vehicle here in North Carolina I was told I would need to get my vehicle inspected. I asked who would be paying for it? They said I would be. I said I would not be since it's not my vehicle. The state worker goes, well it says your name here on the title. I said you're misinformed that is a certificate of title and not title itself. Upon registering the vehicle which was previously registered in Indiana, North Carolina is now the true title holder over the vehicle and as such can dictate what they want over it. However I am not liable for the expenses for their dictates. She went and got her manager, 5 minutes later and repeating the above they put on record that they are waiving the inspection to re-plate the vehicle when the current plates expire.
