The federal government is going to have a hard time pushing through any legislation geared towards limiting guns or even gun parts.

Good. No one cares right now. All this does is make it old news. This is what happens when a new journalist is out there trying to move up, they do things out of turn and end up actually hurting the cause. CNNmoney.com? He's also making them look very biased. He probably had a due date for a news piece and cranked this out in about 5 hours because he slacked off.

That's "lone-gunman" priming (or reinforcing, as the case may be) at its finest, IMO.
